Daystar Hotel

Everything was perfect, very clean, very good services, breakfast buffet everyday difference and close to the old nightmarket, also many restaurants. I want to tell al my friend or family's, when they come to Phu Quoc, they have to stay in this Hotel ( Wi-Fi is good working too ).

This hotel is clean and tidy, with delicious breakfast and warm, thoughtful staff. The view by the swimming pool is simply stunning. During our stay, we rented a motorcycle and accidentally left the key in it, but the hotel staff found it and kept it safe for us—we are truly grateful for that. In addition, contrary to what some previous reviews claimed, the corridors are not dark without lights at all; the corridor lights stay on all night, providing ample illumination. The pest control in the rooms is also remarkably effective—we didn’t see a single insect the entire time, nor did we get any bug bites. What’s more, there was a faint pleasant scent lingering in the rooms, presumably from the pest control treatment. Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! （ It would be even better if the hotel could upgrade the toothbrushes in the toiletries, as the quality of the toothbrushes and toothpaste is really not up to par.）

The lady receptionist is very kind and helpful. Hotel manager is also very helpful on arranging the Vin Wonders tickets and when I left my backpack at the hotel lobby after checking out, he was helping me to send my bag to airport without any delay. Many thanks!!!

There’s not good ventilation at the Lobby, pool and room was clean. But it’s weird there’s no light at the aisle at night it’s kinda creepy. Sound proof in the room still bearable. Room is clean water pressure good, strong hair dryer. BUT THERE’s ROVE BETTLE in the room, which I really can’t accept it, we kill MORE than 6 rove beetle. This is a very dangerous inject will cause serious skin infection. Thanks god we’re not infected by it. But the pest control really have to be improve. Other Thn this Rove beetle all good, but because of this rove bettle I would say I would not take the risk again to stay at this hotel. Only the receptionist in the day time know some very simple English, other than that everything you have to use translation. Bare in mind they have vy incomplete first aid, so if anything happen they can’t help you

Lovely clean spacious rooms. Terrific view of the ocean.  Breakfast is a good mix for the varied groups of tourists. The egg station was excellent.  Mia on the front desk provided a lovely warm welcome and provided support when we extended our stay.   There’s restaurants to the left of the hotel and the night markets are a few hundred metres away to the right.
