We added an extra bed and were upgraded to a triple room. The hotel's pool, beach, and kids' water park are all great, and there's a kids' club available. Both the Sora & UMI restaurants offer delicious breakfast and dinner, though the efficiency is a major drawback. Despite many empty tables, we still had to wait for breakfast. The Sea Shack restaurant had a lot of flies, and the breakfast was basic. Overall, the environment is excellent, and the service is warm. There's a small night market just a short walk away, though it's not as lively as the central area. There are also many massage options nearby.

Maybe it was due to the sheer number of rooms, but check-in, check-out, and breakfast all involved queues, giving me the impression of being in Sanya during Chinese New Year. The hotel facilities are very comprehensive; even after checking out, there are still public amenities like the kids' club, a pool with public showers, a game room, and a lounge where you can pass the time, which was a huge plus. Initially, we booked an apartment building, which had a pure business style with no sea view. It had a kitchen but no cooking utensils, and a washing machine but no outdoor drying rack, making it feel a bit impractical. After communicating with Ctrip, we switched to a classic room. The spacious, irregularly shaped room and the marine-themed soft furnishings instantly brought back that vacation vibe for us...

Booked a two-bedroom suite, which was perfect for a family trip. The food was delicious, and the lava cake was superb! The environment is beautiful, and while the beach isn't the cleanest, it's pretty typical for central beaches. There are also several massage parlors nearby that offer a great experience.

The hotel is a convenient 15-minute drive from the airport. After check-in, the front desk proactively encourages you to add their WeChat account, which essentially becomes your 24-hour customer service. You can book any requests (including adult and kids' activities within the hotel) through it. 🏝️InterContinental Phu Quoc is an absolute haven for kids! The hotel has two regular swimming pools 💦, plus another pool with slides 🛝, so the kids can enjoy a different one each day. 🍜After swimming in the morning, we'd head straight to the poolside restaurant for lunch. They have a kids' menu, so children can order themselves, and there's even a simple English crossword puzzle 🎮 on the back of the menu – it's incredibly kid-friendly! This allows for a seamless transition between playing in the water 💦 and eating 🍔. ☀️When it gets too hot in the afternoon, the kids can go to the kids' club for activities (Figure 1 shows the schedule). The hotel staff 👩‍💼 have excellent English and good accents, so the children can communicate with them independently, and I can just observe from the side.
