Movenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc

I like the hotel. It’s quite good for a family with a baby. Breakfast was good. The room was quite big with a big balcony. The beach was clean. The problem was with beach chairs. They were all taken by Russians. They were leaving their towels in the evening on the beach chairs and when we were coming to the beach in the morning and there was nobody, we didn’t have a place to stay. We were with a baby, so it was quite annoying because we couldn’t get a beach chair. They were all occupied already but the people who did that were coming to the beach only till noon. It’s a five star hotel and such things are not ok. I went to the reception desk to complain but they were helpless.

Good hotel, nice room, great swimming pool and beach, there were special events for the new year. All well organized and clean. Breakfast could be better comparing with others hotels, but still good! Recommended

Fantastic resort for couples and families. I will definitely recommend this resort to anyone. The bed and pillows are amazing and the provide free sweet snacks every day at 3:30 so you don't have to buy lunch.

Comfortable and services were good. But the pool was a little bit dangerous. Because my wife and kids had been wounded a few times. Also, I found a small piece of glass inside the pool. Views were fancy

It was my first Phu Quoc trip with my parents. I made a reservation because my friend recommended it, but I was satisfied more than I expected. Personally, there were a lot of breakfasts, but I picked delicious ones. Next time. If I go, I would like to make another reservation.

I want to tell you about our trip to a beautiful island, and it was expected that everything would be fine judging by the reviews and videos. Why this particular Mövenpick hotel, because it is a 5-star and it was also written that they have a shuttle from/to the airport/hotel. After booking the hotel, I also wrote another message to hotel that our plane arrives at 3 o'clock so that the hotel staff would be aware and send a shuttle for us. However, after arriving at the airport we hardly found a representative of the hotel (he himself had to wait for us and find us) and he told us the shuttle was here at three o'clock, but he already left, says, and the next one will be at 5 o'clock said. We had to order a taxi ourselves and take it to the hotel. It's time to check out and at 12 o'clock we go down to the reception. At the reception, the rest of the deposit was returned to us. By the way, about the deposit. Upon arrival at the hotel, the stuff told us that we needed to make a deposit total 9 million dong VND. We didn't have any VND, we had dollars and they said that we could use dollars. But when we gave the dollars, they told us that you had old-style dollars and they counted us at a very low exchange rate. So after handing over the keys and returning the rest of the deposit, we were told to sit here on the couch near the reception, the shuttle will come for you at two o'clock. We sat until 2 o'clock, no one came up to us and the shuttle did not arrive. We sat for another three minutes after that, I went up to the staff, asked about the shuttle, then the employee called someone and he said that the shuttle was here at 2 o'clock but you were not here and he left without you. How could he leave if he didn't come at all, since we were sitting near the reception and saw who came and went, the shuttle didn't come at all.... We liked everything in the general hotel, the location is very good, the food is delicious, the beach area is good and the pool, however, this attitude towards customers from employees and such deception is not very pleasant, so the rating is 3. I think if the hotel is 5-star, everything should be at the highest level.

I enjoyed staying at this resort. Staff were friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast buffet was amazing with delicious food! It is a big beautiful resort to relax and have fun.

Room is clean,spacious. Room Seaview is magnificent Breakfast is great too.

I have stayed in a lots of hotels however this was the worst experience. I would never want to come again her. Everything started on the wrong note. We reached hotel around 12:30pm and was informed by Mr. Henry that usually the check In at 3:00 pm however our room is under cleaning and he will provide us the room in a moment. After waiting for 1.5hrs we were informed by Joanne that its our policy and we can't be given the room before 3:00pm in a harsh tone. Very strange and disrespectfully since we told something different by other receptionist. To our surprice there was a lizard in our room. While checking out we realized the one of luggage was also broken while handling by hotel staff. I am not sure this property should be called a 5 star property considering the service we were provided. Neither coming back to this property again nor recommend it to anyone. They were more caring towards locals I felt.
