It was a bit damp! The air conditioning didn't help. The view was nice, but the location was a bit far out, making it hard to get a taxi. Taxis also charged extra, making it a bit pricey. The hotel food was moderately priced and had good views.

The environment is comfortable and relaxing. The hygiene is good, and the room is very clean. The service is warm and thoughtful. The facilities are also comprehensive, and the breakfast is excellent. It was very convenient for us to stay here with our child. We will definitely book this hotel again next time we visit!

The sea-view room offers fantastic views, and the pool is very clean, plus there's a massage service! It's perfect for families with kids and seniors to get a pool-access room; you can have a blast without even leaving the hotel!

The hotel is very comfortable and has its own swimming pool. The breakfast is delicious, with local Thai dishes. The Latitude restaurant offers breathtaking views. The only downside is that the welcome lobby at the entrance is a bit shabby.

I had an overall good stay at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay. The location is excellent — peaceful and slightly away from the busy areas, yet still very convenient to reach Patong and nearby attractions. When I first checked in, I wasn’t happy with the ocean view from the room I was allocated. Thankfully, the staff were very understanding and quickly arranged a room change, which I really appreciated. Their responsiveness made a big difference to my experience. One thing I really liked was their hotel app. It’s very convenient — you can request the shuttle, order food, and even request medicine directly through the app. It made everything smooth and hassle-free. The only downside for me was the breakfast selection. While the quality was decent, I wish there were more options and variety. Overall, a good stay with a great location and helpful service. I would consider staying again.

The environment is generally good. The pool in the room is beautiful, but the water is still very cold at night, and there are some bugs. The service: The hotel app is really useful. There's a shuttle bus to Patong Beach, 50 Thai Baht per person per way, and you just need to book an hour in advance. Room service is available 24 hours and isn't expensive, and the food tastes decent. However, breakfast is just average, with not much variety. Facilities: The hotel is quite large, with two lobbies. You need to take a shuttle to get between them, as walking is pretty tiring. Luckily, there are plenty of shuttles, so it's quite convenient. It takes about an hour to drive to the airport.

I booked a pool suite, and the room was quite spacious. Breakfast was decent. The hotel is located on a hill, about a 10-minute drive from Patong Beach, so transportation isn't very convenient. There aren't many public facilities either. Coming from the Pullman in Karon, I felt a significant drop in quality. It's not really suitable for a relaxing vacation.

We stayed in a Premium Pool Suite Ocean View from 14–16 February 2026. The ocean view and overall setting of the resort are truly beautiful, and the private pool concept offers a high level of privacy. We would also like to commend the manager for handling our concerns professionally. However, during our stay, we experienced a repetitive loud noise approximately every 10 seconds during the night, as well as a shower drainage issue. Although a technician was sent to inspect, the noise issue could not be resolved immediately, which affected our rest on the first night. The hotel arranged room changes and later provided an upgrade, which demonstrated effort in resolving the matter. However, there were still cleanliness concerns in the replacement rooms, including flies in one room and leaves in the private pool. We appreciate the hotel’s gesture of offering breakfast and a 30-minute foot massage as compensation. For future guests, it may be advisable to check room conditions, especially regarding noise and pool cleanliness, upon arrival. We hope the hotel will continue improving building maintenance, plumbing systems, and cleanliness standards. The location and brand potential are strong, and with improved operational consistency, the guest experience could truly match the expected premium standard.

This hotel is incredibly bad value for money. The location is very remote, far from everything, and public transport is practically non-existent. The photos are of a room costing over 2100 RMB per night, but the actual room was terrible, worse than a motel in a small town. The service was abysmal, almost non-existent. The front desk was tiny, smaller than a guesthouse in a village, and there was only one unenthusiastic guy serving a crowd of people. He was also very unfriendly towards Chinese guests. Our schedule was so tight that we forgot to leave a tip on the first and second days. On the third day, we were leaving, but on the evening of the second day, we returned to our room to find our luggage had been tampered with. The zipper of my suitcase compartment was pulled open. I had carefully bundled Thai Baht notes and even noted the quantity, which wasn't stolen. However, out of the hundreds of RMB notes rolled together, two of the largest 100 RMB bills were taken directly. The zipper was left wide open, as if to provoke us. We reported it to the hotel, and the staff who came said, 'I suggest you don't test human nature anywhere. We can't find anything, so you can call the police if you want' (they knew we didn't have time to waste). I will never stay at this hotel again. Chinese people, avoid this place.

Excellent service! Almost every suite comes with a private pool, and they even prepared a turndown service for my birthday.

I have quite mixed feelings about this hotel. I booked a suite with a private pool and sea view. The view is nice, although largely obstructed by the building in front. The room service is excellent, extremely responsive and fast. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful; I really want to emphasize that point. Now, for the downsides: The organization is simply terrible. It took us over an hour to get our room cards, and believe me, after a four-hour flight followed by an hour's drive from the airport, a check-in lasting over an hour is more than unpleasant. When you arrive at Lobby 1, you're told that for suites, you need to go to another building via shuttle. We waited over twenty minutes before a shuttle picked us up. Then, once we got to the correct building for the suites, we were made to wait again, and I had to spend what felt like an eternity signing a huge stack of documents. Regarding the room, overall, it's fine. It's not extraordinary; the decor isn't particularly memorable, especially given the price of the rooms. The pools could be much cleaner, as we found an open, used bag of chips in the pool and the water wasn't always very clean. The pools should also be heated when temperatures aren't ideal; we hardly used ours because it was simply too cold. The most unpleasant aspect of the hotel is this shuttle system for getting between lobbies and rooms, controlled by an app you have to download. The hotel is large, and getting to the lobbies, in particular, feels dangerous; the road is steep, and accessibility is really impractical. We sometimes waited over twenty minutes for a car to take us to the main lobby to catch a taxi for our activities or simply to go for a walk. Don't even try to leave the hotel on foot; a car is essential because the road is very busy with no provisions for pedestrians. So, to summarize, if you just want to stay at the hotel, enjoy the view from the pool, and use the hotel's services, it's an excellent choice. However, if you're looking to explore, walk around, and venture outside the hotel, it's definitely not the right location.

The hotel is lovely; I booked a sea-view villa. However, my main points are: firstly, it took me half an hour to check into the villa. Secondly, the pool was unfortunately cold with no heating, so I couldn't use it. The breakfast was good and varied, and they offer an Arabic buffet. But when you leave the hotel, you'll wait at least 10 minutes for a car to pick you up from your room to the lobby, and it's the same when you return to your room. Honestly, I wouldn't repeat this experience; there are better options for the same price or less.

Great staff and lovely hotel!

I stayed here six years ago, and this tome I was very impressed to find that the service remains top-tier. The amenities are excellent as always. However, I would like to suggest some maintenance improvements in certain areas, particularly in the bathroom and the pool.
