Dara Hotel

Dara Hotel is a value hotel that is well worth the cost! The breakfast was the best aspect followed by the pool and seating area. The rooms are basic but spacious. We struggled getting Grabs but you can hail street taxis/ tuck tuck easily enough. The shopping center nearby is excellent and a 5-10 minute walk. It’s a couple of miles away from the Old Town and Weekend Market.

Excellent hotel with a great location, very close to Phuket Central. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well organized. No insects at all. The staff are very friendly and helpful, service is fast, and the buffet is excellent. Highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Pool was very dirty, and furnitures and utensils are old and dirty not recommended

We’re super happy with this hotel. Location is literally across from the mall and next to massage. The swimming pool is amazing!

It doesn’t look impressive from the outside but the inside is decorated and designed quite nicely.  In terms of location it depends on what you are looking for. It is fairly close to the central mall (probably max 10 minutes walk even if not walking very fast) but I did not have time to go as there were too many other things to do. It is about half an hour moderate to slow speed walk into the middle of old Phuket town but if you don’t feel like walking there is a bus stop within ten minutes walk max with lots of buses either to the beaches or town centre depending on which side of the road you wait in.

Our family of four (two adults and two children) just returned from a wonderful 4-day, 3-night stay at Dara Hotel in Phuket, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. This hotel truly delivered on everything important for a family vacation. The location was unbeatable for convenience. The hotel is in the heart of Phuket, just a short walk from Central Phuket, the island's largest shopping mall. This made grabbing last-minute snacks, shopping, and finding family-friendly restaurants incredibly easy. For exploring, the hotel's central spot gave us easy access to various attractions across the island. A major highlight was the delicious daily breakfast with a fantastic variety. There were plenty of options to satisfy both adults and kids every morning, from Western and Asian dishes to fresh fruits and baked goods, which was the perfect way to start our busy days of adventure.
