They offer a free shuttle service, which you can book in advance via email. There are three time slots to choose from. We opted for the 11:30 AM transfer to the island, which required us to arrive at the Chalong Pier Racha lounge around 10:00 AM. There, you can pre-select your room's essential oil scent and enjoy some light refreshments. The speedboat transfer is convenient; they'll place your luggage right at your door, and you just leave it there when you check out. Upon arrival, you're greeted with refreshing towels and drinks. The water quality wasn't great; I'm not sure if it was a March issue, but the water that came out was yellowish. You can order room service, and the noodles were quite good. The island has a happy hour from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, where drinks are discounted. All expenses are simply charged to your room number and settled upon checkout. There's a 7% service charge and a 1% tax of some sort. The hotel breakfast buffet was decent, with a good selection, and the location was excellent for enjoying the sea view while having breakfast. The hotel offers many activities, most of which require a fee. Yoga was free, but we didn't go. You can also go snorkeling on your own, which we tried. You can borrow life vests from the hotel for free. Overall, this place is perfect for just relaxing and whiling away the time. I'd definitely come back again. Oh, and there are cats on the island! I even brought some cat treats, haha.

Facilities: The room has everything you need, and the pool is quite large. Hygiene: Staying in such a clean hotel on such an ecological island exceeded my expectations. Environment: Needless to say, it's top-notch. Service: All the staff are full of smiles. It would be even more perfect if the Chinese-speaking service could be a bit better.

This is my second visit, which just goes to show how much I love The Racha! The beach right in front is comparable to the Maldives, and this time I even spotted some jellyfish 🪼. The kids absolutely loved the pool.

We were dropped off on the other side of the island after diving, and our butler came to pick us up. It was a rather chaotic arrival, and seeing the other side of the island at that moment made me feel like I'd landed in Africa! It was scorching hot, and the lobby was packed with people – probably around 1 PM, with guests checking in and checking out all at once. There was no air conditioning, no empty seats, and they didn't even offer us a cold towel or iced water right away. Thankfully, we didn't wait long and were able to check in by 2 PM. Our butler escorted us to our room, which was decent, designed like a Maldivian villa with an outdoor shower. However, controlling the hot water temperature inside was tricky! The only happy hour on the island is in the afternoon, with a buy-one-get-one-free drink offer and some free snacks. Anyway, our first dinner at the restaurant was really, really mediocre! We paid a premium just for the beach view.

A very beautiful hotel! The environment, hygiene, and service are all excellent. They are all detached villas, which made for a very comfortable stay. From arrival to departure, the staff provided one-stop service, helping with luggage so we only needed to carry a small bag to check in. The Sunset Restaurant also has great food, but you need to book seats by the coast in advance. The hotel's spa is very relaxing! (๑¯◡¯๑)

The environment is beautiful, but the service attitude is really bad. They charge extra for an additional bed if there are more than two people, and you can only add one person maximum. If you have extra friends, they aren't even allowed to enter the hotel. Seriously, the attitude is garbage.

I booked the pier transfer in advance via WeChat. I'd recommend taking the 11:30 AM one so you have more time to experience the island. The scenery on the island is absolutely breathtaking, no complaints there. However, the room was quite old, and all the facilities were dated. The water from the tap was also yellowish. I definitely paid purely for the scenery.

The best hotel on Koh Racha Yai! After landing at the airport, we pre-booked a car directly to Chalong Pier to check-in. The check-in desk was conveniently located across from 7-Eleven. After checking in, the staff took care of our luggage, arranging for it to be transported to the island – we didn't have to worry about it at all. Once we arrived at the hotel, we checked in directly at reception. We were offered refreshing drinks and hot towels upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. We booked a room with a distant view, which was excellent; we could see the beach right from our door. I found the sand on this beach to be the finest. The shallow waters right in front of the hotel are incredibly clear, perfect for snorkeling – you can see everything below with just goggles. The hotel front desk offers snorkeling gear like goggles and life vests for rent. The sunsets here are also incredibly picturesque. Overall, it's a very relaxing place, and booking in advance meant the price was quite reasonable.

Environment: I booked this hotel entirely for the beach and its crystal-clear waters. The white sandy beach and the 'jelly' sea definitely lived up to expectations – totally worth the price! Facilities: The room itself was pretty standard, nothing to write home about. I wasn't expecting much, so I just focused on enjoying the beach instead. Entertainment: This place is perfect for snorkeling. You can bring your own gear, borrow a life vest from the hotel, slather on some sunscreen, and spend ages in the water. I also went diving and boat diving. A speedboat picked me up from a larger boat and dropped me at the hotel in just two minutes. This hotel is absolutely ideal if you're into diving. The hotel also offers diving services, so you can contact them to inquire about activities and prices.

This hotel is beautiful. Although it was nearly 4000 a night during Chinese New Year, it was still worth it, especially since it was so peaceful and quiet without many tourists in the mornings and evenings. The hotel staff were excellent, very warm and welcoming, whether at check-in or in the restaurant, and very good with children. There were many Chinese guests, and also many families with kids, but overall it remained very quiet. I personally think it's quite good.

Racha is unbelievable, from the facilities to the location and the ultra friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could stayed more days. We will come back again

Facilities: Fully equipped, with an outdoor pool in the room offering stunning views of the bay. Absolutely beautiful. Cleanliness: Very clean, and housekeeping was prompt and thorough. Environment: Flawless. The hotel's white sand beach has fine, soft sand. Snorkeling in the sea was also fantastic. Kids could easily play there all day.

Perfect for families with kids! The hotel's diving service was fantastic; the instructor was very responsible and explained everything in great detail. The underwater world was stunning, with spectacular schools of fish and beautiful corals. Truly an unforgettable trip!

The scenery is incredibly beautiful, and the hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. It felt really warm and cozy. The staff can speak Chinese, so there were no communication barriers. A special shout-out to SEED for their excellent service – they even helped us find our way to the mall, which was very thoughtful. Highly recommend! 👍
