The breakfast was very enjoyable, the food was tasty, and the service was good. It’s convenient because there’s a Seven Eleven nearby, and the hotel offers various services inside as well. In terms of location, it’s very convenient—about a 15-minute walk to the pier, and also close to Bangla Street. The downside is that the room cleaning seemed a bit lacking.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Sawaddi Patong Hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised when the hotel automatically upgraded our room — such a lovely and unexpected gesture! This trip was to celebrate my birthday, so I’m truly grateful for the extra care and kindness. It made my stay even more special. Another great point is that the hotel has recommended island-hopping tour packages available downstairs, which is very convenient. There’s no need to search outside and risk being overcharged or scammed. Next door, there’s also a very delicious hotpot restaurant that’s worth trying. A 7-Eleven is right next door as well, which makes everything super convenient. The only small downside is that you’ll need to take a taxi to get to the beach. Other than that, everything was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!

Nice 4 star hotel with fantastic location. Can get everything within walking distance. But, no king size bed. Just combined 2 single beds. Like the 2 swimming pools , so that not crowded

I tried to communicate with Trip.com about changing my room type, and we ultimately decided not to make any changes. However, upon arrival, I found out the room type was still incorrect. I reluctantly stayed in the wrong room for the first night and directly contacted the hotel front desk the next day to switch. The room facilities are good, and the hotel's surrounding amenities are comprehensive. The only real issue is the water quality, which is truly awful, especially in the new building. It's genuinely brown and black tap water, and there's nothing that can be done about it! On the second day, I moved back to the old building into a deluxe room, and while the water quality improved slightly, it was still murky.

The hotel lobby and surrounding areas are clean and visually appealing, which gave a good first impression. However, the rooms in Building 5 could use some maintenance. The toilet is quite small and lacks proper ventilation, which made it a bit uncomfortable. I also experienced an issue during check in regarding the deposit. The receptionist insisted on a 2,000 baht deposit per room. I asked if it could be reduced since we booked two rooms, but she refused. A day before checkout, I requested to switch the deposit to USD instead so I could get my baht back. She then mentioned that USD was an option from day one, something she hadn’t informed us earlier and she still refused to make the exchange. Fortunately, another staff member stepped in later and helped resolve the issue, which I truly appreciate. Her assistance made a big difference. Overall, the hotel has potential with its nice surroundings and helpful staff, but the rooms and communication at the reception could definitely be improved.
