White Stallion Ranch

We won a stay at White Stallion through a charity auction. The place is great, food is delicious, and there were lots of activities to participate in...at a cost! We were not made aware that EVERY activity was extra and the buffet lunch and dinner had a 20% add-on on top of charging us for each one. When we checked out of our "free" vacation, our bill was over $900! $40 for archery, $85 for horseback riding, $55-75 for shooting, $55 for e-bike, $40 Hiking, etc...After talking with front desk regarding all these fees and not being told about them, they basically said too bad, you owe us $933...will not go back.

The quality of the food and accommodations is top notch. I wanted for nothing and felt safe everywhere I went. I’m a solo traveler and have met many people over my travels but NOTHING that compares to WSR. I met people I hope to remain friends with til the end. We were all sobbing as each one left. This place is enchanted with good vibes and positive energy. Never before my trip to WSR have I ever lived 100% in the moment. The horses were gentle, the wranglers were knowledgeable and patient and my world was perfect for a week.

Our stay at the White Stallion Ranch was amazing, we enjoyed every single minute! Everyone at the ranch, wranglers, housekeeping, restaurant staff, the ranch owners, were so friendly, helpful and welcoming from the moment we were picked up from our airport hotel and transferred to the ranch to the moment we were dropped back at the airport. The ranch itself is so beautiful, with so much attention to detail, beautiful planting, tiles and spacious terraces making it equally as beautiful as the stunning backdrop of desert and mountains. The horses were lovely and well matched to each rider. When someone on our ride on their first day experienced an issue with their horse, the wrangler immediately checked with the rider to see if they felt unsafe, and then radioed back to the ranch and another wrangler rode out to us with a replacement horse for them. In general all the horses were very well behaved and seemed very well cared for and happy. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable and the rooms were well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The food was delicious and plentiful, with buffet style service and lots of variety and choice. We loved the rides through beautiful desert scenery both on the ranch and in the National Park. All the rides were beautifully scenic and the fast rides were a lot of fun. We also enjoyed having the opportunity to do some groundwork in the round pen with our horses and to have a horsemanship lesson in the Horse Park where there were a number of obstacles to be negotiated with your horse. We had a go at team penning which was fun and really enjoyed the all day ride where we rode through a canyon and saw ancient petroglyphs in the rocks We also loved the pool and hot tub and we tried beginner archery which was really fun. There were many other activities on offer that we could have done but we focused on riding during our stay. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable. We also very much enjoyed doing a watercolour art class with Ute, the resident artist at the ranch. Altogether a fabulous week. I was sad to say goodbye to my horse at the end of the week. I would definitely recommend the White Stallion Ranch and hope to visit again in the future.

Absolutely amazing experience at White Stallion Ranch! Every single staff member was super professional, responsible, and incredibly friendly — they really made me feel at home. The horses are top quality and very well-trained, so I felt totally safe the entire time. I loved that they let you choose rides based on your experience level — I did both the fast and slow rides, and they were all so much fun! The scenery is straight out of a classic Western movie — right outside the ranch is a stunning national park with those iconic desert views. The food was great too — breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious and really hit the spot after a long ride. Evenings were packed with fun and different activities every night. Oh, and by the way… the cowboys are seriously handsome and the cowgirls are gorgeous! 😄 Highly recommend this place — I’ll definitely be back!

Such an “out of the box” experience. Fantastic accommodation (comfortable ranch style), breakfast, lunch and dinner with great choices and plenty of it. But …. The horse riding and activities were something else & exceeded expectations 10 times over. Trail Rides, Fast Rides, Cattle Sorting & by far the best Team Penning + EBiking, Shooting, Knife & Axe Throwing & Archery

I am a 12-year-old and I went with my family. The feeling of waking up in the morning and getting ready for the day is the best feeling ever. They provide a next step-up hot breakfast that is really good. Even if you are a night owl and wake up late, they have breakfast till 10 o clock. I f I were you and I were going I would try something that you would like. The rock climbing is outstanding, and the guy is really nice. if you are wondering about how clean the rooms are housekeeping comes mostly every day and cleans up the rooms. If you have younger kids with you, they would love feeding the horses and pigs at the petting zoo. If you are thinking about the horses, they give you one that you ride for the whole week. Finally, I would recommend going to the night shows because they are so much fun.
