Days Inn by Wyndham Piedras Negras

Receptionist wanting to be the boss They stay first day was hot ac was not working. Spoke with front desk name Juan an he had very bad customer service instead of helping us. He tired telling us that there was nothing wrong an we need to give the room to cool. I said it had all night an it’s hot this morning. I spoke to maintenance he recognized me from a previous day. Mario is well mannered and professional. He was able to get my room changed because he said the AC was broken and was not working while the receptionist one insisted that everybody go through him as of though he was the boss he made me feel very uncomfortable made me feel like what we said had no meaning to him he was going to do whatever he wanted. I’m just glad that Mario was able to help us and have us moved to a different room. thanks to his expertise and knowing that the AC was broken, we were able to move . Later, I complain to the receptionist in the morning, different person very well mannered very professional, and was told that I was not the first to complain about one. Someone needs to talk Juan’s manager. About his customer services.

Rude front desk staff. We arrived to a room with a drain like smell only to then see that the shower had no door (water all in floor we slipped) , the room had a small tv screen and no smart tv functions as advised only to also find out the tv remotes also weren’t working. I called the front desk to ask about those concerns and the evening shift front desk guy rudely responded that’s the room assigned to me and there wasn’t anything he could do!!! No other solutions provided aside from having tech support come change rémote batteries out (which still didn’t make remotes to work). The next day I called again to complain because the room I paid for 3 nights wasn’t acceptable and the same guy (no name badge) told me very hesitantly that he would see what he could do. Finally he said I could move room, he offered 2nd floor which I asked for first floor when I checked in; he again very rudely replied that was all he had I reminded him that my mom was elderly and clearly a 2nd floor room wasn’t ok, he then « found » a room across the same hall I was in. I asked him if this new room had all the things it should shower doors, smart tv with working remotes and etc, he told me (rudely again) that he couldn’t keep moving me rooms. I reminded him I was a paying customer and only asking for a room in acceptable conditions nothing more and if the first one I was given would have been ok I wouldn’t be asking ! He didn’t have a name badge nor provided his name despite my inquiry!

love the beds soft and clean friendly staff and our housekeeper myra was excillent and friendly
