Heritage Hideaway is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with loved ones. A peaceful and scenic setting to celebrate an anniversary or birthday, or just escape the daily grind. Located on 25 acres of steep bluffs and mature hardwood forest, our main cabin is a fully furnished and modern Amish built log cabin.
A true hideaway, the cabin is tucked back off the main road, yet close to many recreational opportunities. Relax around a campfire or listen to the sounds of nature. Take in the scenic views and gather with family where distractions disappear.
Base rates are based on two person occupancy, additional guest fees apply. For groups larger than six, see our separate listing for our Tiny House located on the opposite side of the property: VRBO#873511. Girls getaway
We really enjoyed the cozy cabin. Lanesboro was 10 mins away and very quaint with good food options. We are already planning to come back in the fall to enjoy the fall colors and local apple orchards!

So Peaceful!
This cabin is totally adorable! Perfect for a quiet getaway. Secluded and such a great view! Beautiful drive to neighboring towns. Would love to stay here again in the summer!

Fall stay
This is my third stay, and I enjoy it every time! We saw eagles, heard wildlife, and gratefully experienced the calm, quiet and beauty of the area.

Family Wedding Stay
Cousin's wedding in Preston on Saturday. There was a Happy Hour in Lanesboro Friday night. Property and cabin were absolutely perfect. 100% would consider staying there again.

Just what we needed
Property was clean, well-maintained. This property is quiet! Which is what we wanted!
Beds were comfortable. Cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the area. Host suggested two places to eat and they were both amazing ( Home Sweet Home in Lanesboro and Aroma Pie in Waylon)
We will look forward to going back and staying again !

A great getaway
The cabin was clean, neat, peaceful, and cozy. It was a perfect getaway trip. Troy was very welcoming and kind. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Hideaway! Hopefully we can come back in near future.

A Hidden Gem
The Heritage House was perfect. Great location, easy drive to historic Lanesboro to enjoy biking, canoeing, live theater at the Commonweal and everything else the town has to offer.
We loved the house. They have everything we needed and enjoyed the sunrises, sunsets, making dinner and unplugging for a few days.
We will definitely be back again.
