Guangyin Youth Hotel (Pingtan Station Night Market Longwangtou Beach)

The room was very clean, and everyone at the hotel was very welcoming. Any problems were resolved promptly, making it a great experience.

Visiting Pingtan during the off-season is incredibly comfortable! On a sunny day, it's absolutely photogenic! The hostel rooms are fantastic, very clean, and have two tables for seating. The first floor is a bar where those who enjoy a drink can relax. The second floor is for accommodation, stylishly decorated. The receptionist is incredibly kind, and the receptionist is also very friendly! Discovering hostels has been a real eye-opener – cheap and in a great location. Of course, it might not be the best choice for those who prioritize quiet, as it's a dormitory (but honestly, in many hotels and guesthouses I've stayed in while traveling, there's always noise from upstairs, next door, and in the hallway, sometimes from inconsiderate people). I didn't take any photos of the hostel, so I'll use something else instead.

The hotel has a good location, near a crossroads in the city center, making it convenient for dining and transportation, and very close to Longwangtou Beach. The facilities are decent, but the rooms are small; besides the bed and locker, there's not much space. There are two main public areas for eating, chatting, and relaxing. The men's and women's bathrooms are separate, with individual toilet stalls and showers, a row of sinks, and separate shoe cabinets. One problem is the noise from the bathrooms. Even at night, people are using hairdryers, and the toilet door slams shut very loudly, making it very noisy in nearby rooms. The constant slamming of doors and hairdryers makes it difficult to sleep well! I hope the hotel management will address this issue!

I drove five or six hours to get here and booked a hotel on Ctrip. The price was high, but there was nothing I could do about it; it was a holiday. Then I chased for two hours, but still couldn't get a room. The traffic was horrible. I arrived exhausted, and the front desk lady said they'd upgraded our room to include a kitchen, perfect for cooking. I didn't need the kitchen; I just wanted to get some rest, but who wouldn't be happy to hear about an upgrade? As soon as I stepped out of the elevator, I felt something was off. I thought it might be a B&B. The feeling got even worse once I entered. I said it wasn't the room I'd booked. I pulled out my phone to talk, but the lady said the pictures were just advertisements. It was early morning, my stomach was flat, my mind was fuzzy, and I wondered if I hadn't carefully read the hotel information and had chosen the wrong hotel. There was no way I was going to find another place with my kids. After settling in, looking at the hotel, I felt something was amiss. I checked the reviews on my phone and saw that everyone else's room photos were normal, but mine weren't. I hadn't slept well that night, and I was in a terrible mood. I went to sleep a little after 1 a.m. and woke up a little after 4 a.m. I forced myself to lie in until after 7 a.m., waiting for the kids to wake up, and checked out a little after 8 a.m. The sanitary conditions were so severe that my child and I didn't even shower or wipe our faces. I was terrified. I had intended to complain when I checked out, but since we were leaving that same day and my child was eager to go to the beach, I checked out without saying anything. I immediately contacted Ctrip after the holiday. Since we had actually stayed, I requested a partial refund. Ctrip was very helpful, but unfortunately, they have no control over the hotel. They refused to cooperate, dragging their feet even after the deadline for filing the complaint, with no result. The hotel replied to Ctrip that they had upgraded the room and couldn't offer a refund. So, I decided not to continue the discussion. The truth is, they oversold it and didn't want to give up over a thousand yuan, so they were being ripped off. Take a look at this upgraded room.

This is a newly opened hotel, so there aren't any photos in the reviews. However, the stay was okay. We bought a twin room with a smart toilet, and the facilities were pretty good. However, the cleanliness in some of the less-than-ideal corners was poor; despite being new, some facilities showed signs of age. The worst thing was the lack of separation between the toilet and the bed. If you spray water towards the door while showering, it leaks out, and my friend didn't notice and got their suitcase wet. Secondly, it was extremely poorly soundproofed. The neighbors playing games and making phone calls were very noticeable. The facilities advertised a laundry room, but washing clothes cost 5 yuan and only lasted 20 minutes. The laundry detergent was a generic brand. Since these facilities were in a common area, hangers and washing machines were shared. After washing, you had to go to the eighth-floor rooftop to dry your clothes, which also had other guests, so there was no privacy. I've never stayed in a room with a combination lock before, so I didn't know you couldn't lock it from the inside, which made me feel quite unsafe. It's about a 20-minute walk to Longwangtou (a restaurant), or a few minutes by taxi. There are many night markets and seafood restaurants nearby, just a few minutes' walk away. Finally, there were cobwebs and spiders in the room, right on the pillow. This guest, who had been added to the room, never replied to messages after being asked to add them; I wonder if something was bothering them. Overall, 130 yuan a night is acceptable; the price is reasonable. Since it was the off-season, any higher price wouldn't be good value. I'd recommend staying at a chain hotel.

Facilities: The facilities are new and modern. Hygiene: clean and comfortable. Environment: There are activities for young people. Service: The service is first-class, the staff has a good attitude and will meet your needs. High cost performance, highly recommended!

This is my first time staying in this kind of hotel. The first floor is a pub and the second floor is accommodation. The boss is very talkative and helpful. The environment is nice and comfortable, the room is clean, and beer was given for the trial opening, which is quite nice, the people are nice, and the wine is also good. I wish the boss a prosperous and long-lasting business.

I must give a positive comment. I really felt warm when traveling during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The lady boss was very nice and would chat with us. She was considerate of the tenants. The juice-flavored beer she gave was delicious and she also gave us big mooncakes. The price was very affordable and it was Newly opened, the environment is hygienic and clean, and the atmosphere is good. It's much better than where I stayed in Fuzhou. I really want to stay one more day!

Pingtan is so beautiful! Riding an electric bike along the road around the island in the clear blue water makes you feel as if you have forgotten everything. How wonderful it would be if you could come to the island to live for a while every summer! ps: The environment of this hotel is really good. It is in the county town and close to the seaside. It is very convenient!
