Lux Hotel

We arrived before midnight however we had been given all the instructions to gain access in case we arrived after reception closed, the lady at reception was lovely very welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great location. It was two blocks from the Port, close to food options. The bathroom was very small. The shower was Old and mould stains. The vanity had water stains and  the toilet would get wet when we were using the shower as it was literally positioned above it with no recess. Our room looked out to Derelict building however it was quiet and we were able to sleep even though it was beside a bar that operated until late. Definitely a great option for an overnight stay prior to boarding the fairies to the islands .

This hotel is a disaster. Booked a quadruple room and given a twin without double bed. Non apologetic. Noisy as hell - there was a hard rock festival outside the hotel from 11pm until 9 am. Didn’t sleep. Please, if you respect yourself, don’t book this hotel.

It's in a pretty run down area. Doesn't feel safe. The "reception" basically is just a desk under the stairs. And the key to the room looks very simple and not secure at all. The balcony is connected between two rooms and it's shared. (i.e. it's good if you want a connected room, otherwise you maybe surprised finding someone outside your window) We were only there for a few hours stay, you get what you pay for.

We were NOT picked up a the airport We made our way and could NOT get in to the hotel. Hotel is right next to a very LOUD bar. We had to find another hotel at 2am REFUND REQUIRED PLEASE

Terrible place next to a night club Worst experience, hotel next to a night club, could not sleep, music was so load and stoped at 6:30 am when we left to grab a ferry
