We booked the apartment as it was so close to the airport for our 6a.m flight. The price was reasonable and the room and bathroom were perfectly adequate. Its was a 5 minute walk to departures and we also walked to the city centre which took 20-30 minutes. Lorenzo; the owner picked us and another couple up from the train station which was great. the walk would only have been around 10 minutes if you had to do this. I think this suited him as he could get on with his day. All in all a very handy place if you have an early flight but the city is so small you can easily get to the airport from the centre if your flight is at a more amenable time. This is a very ordinary apartment block which a very entrepreneurial young man has modified creating en-suite rooms. When we arrived with our luggage another resident was trying to get in the front door with his young child and a buggy.

We had a very easy one night stay at this apartment when we had an very early flight the next morning. Lorenzo is a great host who is very accommodating making our experience very smooth. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the airport, you can hear the flights but as Pisa is only a small airport they aren’t often. The room was very clean and nice with good air con.

My wife and I were very satisfied with our one night stay here before an early morning flight. Lorenzo the owner was a very helpful and kind young man, he was accommodating with our arrival time, and quick to reply to our texts. The room was as advertised, clean and comfortable with a newly refurbished bathroom. The sheets and towels were soft, and the bed comfy. The location (which along with the reasonable price was our main attraction to the accommodation) was superb, a short 5 minute walk to the airport. You could also stay here as an affordable way to see Pisa and other Tuscan towns via the train, which is another short walk away (about 15 minutes). It’s worth noting that there is an accommodation tax here that has to be paid in cash. For us it was €3 although this may vary depending on your length of stay. The price is no problem, but it is good to know you need cash ahead of time. I walked 3min to an atm to get some cash (they only had €50 notes) and then went into a bar to break it. An interesting experience that I didn’t mind, but would have chosen to avoid by having the cash.

We were looking for accommodation close to the airport and this was the ideal solution. Just 5 minutes from the airport. Clean room and bathroom. Recommended for short stays as the room is small but still well set up. Very kind and helpful owner. Check-in and check-out organized in a precise manner.
