Stefania Hotel

Absolutely unacceptable hotel for a 4-star rating. The only positives: good location and direct access to the beach. That’s it. Now the negatives: 1. Upon arrival, there was a flood in the bathroom. The cleaner removed it, but by the next morning it returned. 2. The food is absolutely awful – low-quality products, tasteless and inedible. The meat in particular is unacceptable for a hotel claiming four stars. 3. At the pool, there are signs stating that towels left on sunbeds will be removed if unattended. In reality, no one enforces this. Elderly guests “reserve” sunbeds early in the morning with towels, then disappear back to their rooms. I asked the receptionist three times to at least free one sunbed, but nothing was done. After 3rd attempt . New guests arriving to swim are left standing with nowhere to sit. Why even put up these signs if no one cares? 4. Our room was changed because of the flooding, and we were given a newly renovated one. However, you cannot plug in a charger without moving the nightstand. 5. To open the wardrobe, you also have to move the nightstand. How is this acceptable? 6. The Wi-Fi barely works. You have to walk around to find a spot where it connects. 7. Hot water is unreliable. Sometimes you wait and it still doesn’t come. On the first floor, it was lukewarm at best. On the second floor, we had to shower in cold water. This is outrageous. We ended up leaving the hotel before our planned check-out date because it was simply unbearable. The mattress in the “new” room was so hard it was impossible to sleep. I honestly don’t understand who writes positive reviews about this hotel – probably people close to the owners. For us, it was a huge disappointment. Vacation ruined. No refund, of course.

The hotel is not even close to 4 stars. The food is mostly Fast Food / Junk food. Once every 3 days they also serve pork cooked in the oven. The dessert is almost non-existent. Not enough sunbeds and umbrellas. There is no minibar, not even a glass to drink water from is in the room. The juices taste like pills, the beer is execrable, not to mention the wine. A plus for the room which is spacious and clean, too bad the water turns off every day when you least expect it

Hotel is ok. The food is ok. The beer is only called a "beer' ( it is yellow liquid only(. And there is NO BEACH. What they call a beach is only 30 methers shore where they layed 20 sun beds and old umbrellas which didnt bother to reney the straw from what they are made. I was begging the receptionis to tell the "manager" to buy ten more sun beds so the people can lie down wothout a fight for them. They sould be a petision named "Peole fof sun beds in Stefania resort" :)). On the end there is no point you should drive 700km to Evia when you have a lot of beautiful places on Halkidiki, Sitonia or Atthos.

If you're planning your summer holiday by the beach, here's something you should know: This hotel does not guarantee beach spots for all guests. That means you might end up under the blazing sun with no umbrella, no chair, and no shade. Also, the hotel has been without internet for 3 days, so don’t expect to stay connected during your stay.

i love this hotel because it serves 100% the idea you come here and stay peaceful and relaxed until the day you check out. No-one is bothering you and when you need something you have it straight away ... perfect for families and weekend getaways .. thumps up!

The hotel is situated in a quiet location, close to the center of Amarynthos. Room and bathroom neat, cleaned on a regular basis, beautiful views from the balcony. Beach close to the property with free sun loungers and umbrellas. Pool cleaned every morning. By the pool bar, tennis court, volleyball court. In the hotel itself, ping-pong table, gym, table football and open space for relaxation. Staff very friendly, animators mainly French, but English can be understood. Food very good, although repetitive after a few days. There are dishes for carnivores as well as roasted vegetables or fish. In general, I recommend the hotel to people who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and reset their heads.
