Cannot fault the ambience & beauty of the place. Staff were amazing, very attentive, and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful also. Pools are beautiful. However, the lack of sun beds some days was disappointing. Someone else mentioned the loud music that was piped out. Even with earphones in, i could still hear it. We actually left one day because it was so bad.Our room was sufficient, but our balcony was consistently in the shade, so we never sat out, which was a shame. Now, not everyone might agree with me it wasn't a cheap holiday, and I expected a bit more from the room. The lack of drawers and cupboard space was not good. The space between cupboard and bed was tiny , and only one person at a time could stand there.The TV had no decent channels to watch. Not everyone wants to stay out late and party, so it would have been nice to put a movie on. Tsvilli is a beautiful area with amazing places to eat. We dined out every night and ate wonderful food and drank some great wine. I would return to Tsvilli for a holiday, but not this hotel.

We had a great experience at Contessina Suites & Spa! Even before we arrived, the team (and especially the lovely Maria) were so responsive and helpful in organising transfers, a private boat tour for my partner’s birthday, and dinners throughout the vacation. They also suggested some of the hotel’s unique dinner evenings such as the Greek taverna night and lobster night - both of which were excellent and really good fun! The hotel’s restaurant Nobile is probably the best fine dining experience on the island and the wine pairings were really successful. They made my partner’s 30th birthday a really special one by upgrading us to the most gorgeous room with a private pool and remembering it on the day by sending a personalised note and a bottle of wine. Every member of the team is so friendly, caring and fun, so you feel truly at home. The hotel’s itself is extremely clean and the rooms are made up twice a day. The bed was very comfortable and having Chromecast in the room meant we could have movie nights in the evenings with no hassle. Each guest can use the sauna and the private pool for free and we definitely benefited from that almost every day, which was so relaxing. We also had a couples massage (Cretan treatment) which was one of the best spa experiences I had - a must try! Overall, we had a dream of a vacation at this lovely hotel and are grateful to everyone who made it so special :) We will be back very soon hopefully !

From the minute we arrived at this hotel( and welcomed with fizz, water and towels to refresh) we knew that customer happiness was on the forefront of every single member of staff. The rooms were immaculate and well equipped with all the essentials. We didn’t even use our shower gel etc, as the hotel provides beautiful organic products in the room. We stayed bed and breakfast , and wasn’t disappointed with it. In fact , we were overwhelmed with the choice of beautiful fresh food every morning. There is a menu to choose from as well as a fantastic buffet and nothing was too much to ask for. We used the pool area everyday . It was so peaceful and the beds were so comfortable that we didn’t need to , or want to venture out anywhere else. You can order drinks and snacks from an app on your sunbed and the lovely waiters arrive minutes later. The food we had was very tasty and the price was comparable to the higher end restaurants around the town. Just a 2 minute walk from the hotels gets you to the beautiful beach . The water was crystal clear and there were lots of beach bars to enjoy the wonderful view . Can’t wait to return!

From start to finish, this hotel is outstanding. On arrival, you are greeted with a drink and a cold towel. The receptionists Emiliana and Maria are so helpful and positive. The rooms are big and clean. The cleaning service was outstanding with a Caron of water provided each day. The pool area is lovely although the umbrellas do not provide much shade and the pool is clean. The pool area does get busy so it’s best to get there early. The breakfast has a good selection of food and drink. We also ate here twice in the evening and the food was excellent. Also don’t miss the Lobster night at the Nobile restaurant which is part of the hotel. Although it is expensive, it is worth it. We also had the wine tasting with the wonderful Iliana. For someone so young , she has a great knowledge and passion for wine. The Greek Sauvignon Blancs are surprisingly good. We also did the trip provided by the hotel for the north part of the island. This included a wonderful visit to a superb Olive Oil farm and also a boat trip to the ship wreck. Our driver Steve was knowledgeable and efficient. The spa area is very good and you can book the sauna and indoor pool which is recommended. The beach is also only a few minutes walk away, with Freddie’s Bar providing loungers by the sea. 20 euros for a cabana was good value. The gym area was disappointing, they seemed reluctant for us to use the one in the hotel which apparently was only for 2 people but the one at the sister hotel was not very big either. Perhaps opt for a stroll on the beach instead Also the bar area was very quieter at night, perhaps some live entertainment would help. The Greek boat the sister hotel was a little disappointing, although the food was good , there was no Greek music. Last but not least, the guest services manager Maria was exceptional. She responded quickly to emails before our visit and ensured we were looked after when we were there. She is bubbly and well organised. We would definitely visit again
