Dream Bocayna Village

We arrived after 9pm, Gabriella instantly took us to the restaurant to catch dinner before the kitchen closed, then checked us in afterwards. A really nice touch. We were all inclusive, with a 2 bedroom bungalow. Food was to a very high standard, omelette station always produced perfection. A nice touch in the choices were hash browns, not often I’ve seen these in a Spanish breakfast offering. Lunch was quiet, plenty of buffet choices, followed by dinner where there were 4 or 5 mains to choose from, never left disappointed. Staff were very attentive & with good humour. The bar at the pool opened at 3-11, the barman was very attentive & often had our next round delivered to our table just as we finished last drinks. We never left wanting. There is a self service bar near reception from 11am to 3pm, beer on tap. Full drinks selection & snacks. Only negative was the plastics were tiny. The pool was never crowded, could change towels at reception as often as we needed. Check out was 12 noon, still got lunch & drinks & use of the sauna area to shower & change before pickup for our flight.

We had an absolutely fabulous 5-day stay at Bocyana Village, Playa Blanca – from booking online to checking out, everything was seamless. The bungalow was a highlight: clean, well-equipped, and so private, with our own pool that made it feel extra special. It really felt like the holiday of a lifetime. The all-inclusive food was of the highest standard – easily the best we’ve experienced. Dinner felt more like dining in a quality restaurant with the à la carte menu, and the cocktails were outstanding, prepared with real care. What stood out most was the staff – friendly, approachable, and genuinely caring without ever being overbearing. The bar and catering teams clearly take pride in their work, which created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the resort. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained: the grounds are landscaped, the pool area is always tidy, and we never had a problem finding sunbeds. We also loved the relaxed vibe – there’s no animation team, which actually made it more enjoyable, with families happily playing cards, pool, and table football together. The location is perfect too: a beautiful beach just a 5-minute walk away and a local circular bus stop right at the end of the hotel, with half-hourly services throughout the resort We honestly can’t wait to return . Part of us is reluctant to share how amazing it was in case it becomes too popular, but this place really deserves the praise!

We were in a Superior Deluxe Two Bedroom bungalow, which had loads of space inside and out, due to it being a corner plot which had the benefit of having a hot tub in the corner. We had a few snags while we there, the ceiling fan didn’t work in the main bedroom and the was a foul smell from the drain in the smaller bathroom. I couldn’t thank the maintenance guys enough as they soon came and sorted all our issues, even down to getting us another sun bed as there was only two outside. I found the food had a great selection and was always hot. On the evening there was a choice of 5 meals to choose from which would be made fresh to order. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I can’t comment on the pool as we never had to use it, with our space was more than enough. We look forward to coming again, Thank you

We arrived after a long transfer in the evening to be told that we would have to stay in another hotel with very little explanation. We had to walk to the other hotel 10 minutes up the road with very heavy cases. A house keeper kindly helped us with cases. We had to return at 8 the next morning to ensure we had a "good breakfast" , bringing what luggage we could manage back to the hotel. We went to reception where we met a really helpful receptionist, Nicole who told us that we had to wait for a family to check out of our room and then have it cleaned. She could at least give us an explanation of what had happened. The company had double booked. We had to walk back to the other hotel until having to return at 1pm for a very disappointing lunch. Back to reception, room would hopefully be ready at 3pm , we eventually got into our room at 2.30pm. we were told we had been given the best room but was actually the room we had booked and paid for. Room was good, outside area was amazing, the only good thing about this hotel. We were all inclusive but ate out most of time. Breakfast was average, lunch was poor, dinner was the only decent meal. Drinks were awful and we went to the bar on the day we left to get a snack before our flight to be told, " we don't have snacks". Worst all inclusive hotel l have ever stayed in. Had to ask for our room to be cleaned on the 4th day, very poor clean. We had a nice holiday but out with hotel. I will go back to staff, we met 3 receptionists, one rude girl on arrival, the gentleman was lovely and Nicole is an asset to this hotel. We actually contemplated getting a flight back home after the horrible start to the holiday but Nicole saved the day. A lot of filming going on with them drinking fancy cocktails, you should be looking after your guests. Would not recommend this hotel.

Lovely spacious 2 bed bungalow which was spotless. Housekeeping came every 2 days. The terrace was huge! Nice to sit out in an afternoon. Bungalow had air con and was equipped for self catering however we were all inclusive so never used equipment except for fridge. Hairdryer in bathroom, and pool towels from reception. Shower gel in bathroom. The food was always fresh and of a good standard for all inclusive. I particularly liked the ala carte table service for evening meal (buffet also available as well as). Bar and cocktails good selection. It is a quiet spot with no entertainment and a good 10 min drive into town (Rubicon Marina is nearest) so if you’re after a lively holiday then this isn’t it. We wanted peace and quiet with a nice swimming pool for the kids and that’s what we got - some lovely winter sun! There was a pool table too which kept them busy - you’ll need 1euro coins. Reception staff were very helpful as were bar and restaurant team. I’d recommend a car for getting about, however I do believe there is a good bus service but we never used this. Only downside was our room wasn’t ready when we arrived so they put us up in an upgraded room for the evening with a hot tub, but then we had to move out on the second day to a standard bungalow (which we’d paid for) which wasn’t an issue but it meant we couldn’t unpack straight away. All in all a great stay and I would return.
