Elba Premium Suites - Adults Only

Beautiful grounds & hotel and amazing staff. The spa facilities are a lovely added bonus. The food was good, as were the cocktails. The only negative comment I have is that I expected more stray cats 😊. I would definitely return, without a doubt.

This was our second time to the Elba Premium Suites. This time we went with TUI on a package deal on an AI basis. From the moment we arrived there was a warm welcome at reception & we found our suite easily. The suite was spotless & was cleaned every day to a high standard. We ate in the El Mirador restaurant for breakfast and dinner & food was of good quality for a buffet, with the bonus of hot plates, which on all the trips we’ve been on is rare. We also ate in the Nonna restaurant & Marianne looked after us so well! For lunch we ate at Los Jameos, where every day we had the lovely Julia who always had a smile on her face & chatted to all the customers while serving great food. We love this place because of the serenity of the adults area and the fun in the bars meeting people from across the globe. A fabulous stay & we’ll be back!!

Elba Premium Suites quotes as being adults only. When we arrived we were told categorically that the Premium Suites were adults only. On the second day of our trip we saw a lady and a little girl walk down the path and enter our block. My wife spoke with the reception and at the time they seemed quite shocked and said they would look into it. The following day we saw a family with 2 small children leaving out block, and again we spoke with a different person a reception who informed us that they were 10 & 12 years old and not as young as we thought. The fact that they quote the minimum age (16) for this part of the hotel seemed irrelevant to this person and just shrugged his shoulders. It appears that if the main hotel is full they use the adults only area as an over spill. This would be so bad if they were honest about it but unfortunately they are not. Another point I have to raise is that on the first night when we entered the dining room my wife (who is celiac) asked the lady at the entrance about the food labels and explained the issue. She was then told to ignore the labels they're just for show and to speak with the chief. On one particular night my wife ate something (which she was told was Gluten free) and later on suffered badly from stomach pain. I could only think of what might have happened if someone had a nut allergy and ate something that they were told didn't have nuts in it. Our general opinion of Elba Premium Suites was it's a nice place which even though the general staff are very nice, they are struggling because there isn't enough of them. This cannot be said for the reception area where there seems to be a lot of staff but they don't offer much help if required. We will not be returning to there.

This is our first trip to this hotel and we have not been disappointed at all. The facilities are excellent . Our room is very spacious and spotlessly clean . Our room is a premium suite with coffee machine and mini bar in the room. The main pool area is large with plenty of sun beds. The animation is excellent and Costa has a fantastic team. . Lula takes an excellent aqua gym.. We sample both a la carte restaurants and they were very good . Very tasty with excellent service. The manager Francisco and deputy Francesca are very visible throughout the day and evening . Speaking to guests and checking all bars and restaurants. Check in at the hotel was effortless. We arrived at 9.45 and we were aloud to eat first while the restaurant was open and check in after we were fead. The garden areas are extensive and a large team of gardeners are constantly trimming and tidying all areas. The adult only areas are fantastic if you are looking for a quiet retreat. The separate pool area and buffet restaurant allow you to escape from the hustle and bustle if you are looking for a little tranquility.

The adult pol area can’t say enough how Chuss Julia ramon and lulu make our family of 8 stay x the extra activities by the adult pool are fabulous attended the cheese and wine today and look forward to the next days plans for white Sangrea , mojito, paella and other demos x so wonderful staff loving every second

We had an excellent time and would thoroughly recommend Elba. This was our third time at the hotel. Each time for four nights. The first was very good in November 2022. The second in April 2023 was good but menu was just ok. This time though the food was excellent and varied with the seafood themed evening a particular highlight. The staff have always been excellent, friendly and welcoming. The bedroom in the cottage was excellent, clean and beautiful. Pool bar and adult only pool area was gorgeous with Chuss and the staff friendly, funny and welcoming as usual. The music in the top lounge was varied with excellent singers. Possibly they could sing on a little longer to 11.30 but that’s probably because we were enjoying the evening so much. All in all I would say that Elba have upped the quality in a major way. Oh and the breakfasts on the terrace were superb with great variety. Well Done to all the restaurant staff for making it a brilliant holiday.

We had a fantastic week in the Elba and hope to return next year. We stayed in the adults’ section on the all-inclusive deal. We enjoyed the relaxed ambience and attention to detail. The adults’ pool does a lovely lunch menu, served to your table, and a range of excellent activities including a wine and cheese tasting session and a special cocktails afternoon. You can also have lunch in the main downstairs restaurant. We had our breakfast each morning and dined each evening upstairs in the adult only area. As teachers we like children, but it is great to escape on holiday into adult-only areas. The food was excellent, especially the freshly grilled fish and meats, and the themed starters. After dinner the entertainment was of a very decent quality and very varied. It meant we left our exploring around this beautiful resort to daytime and enjoyed the evening entertainment, wine and cocktails in the hotel. There is such a friendly vibe and it was easy to enjoy the entertainment with other guests. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your stay. We both were very sorry to leave, but even that was stress free with a complimentary spa session and Jet2 checking in our bags and taking them away from the hotel whilst we enjoyed our last few hours being pampered. What I should also add is that Playa Blanca is a beautiful resort with family friendly beaches, a fabulous marina and 6 miles of promenade. There are no high-rise hotels so it is all very tasteful and relaxed. We stayed in Tenerife the previous year but this is a classier and more chilled island. Thank you Hotel Elba - all of your staff are magnificent.

Just spent a week here all inclusive. As said, due to recent reviews I wasn’t very hopeful. No need whatever the place was fantastic! Rooms very clean, pools beautiful, entertainment team all great, well stocked bar with everything included in the all inclusive. Only down side was the food, managed to find something every night but honestly wasn’t great, I’m vegetarian but not too picky, unfortunately not everything was labelled, this would have helped massively. Hot food was under heat lamps but food was far from hot. Far too much with fish included. Partner will eat anything and he even struggled. Sort the food issues and this would be a perfect hotel.

Very nice hotel. We had two adjacent rooms with our daughters sharing. Rooms and grounds are spotless. Breakfast and dinner in lLe Mirador restaurant were great with aa good variety and something for everyone. I have to call out Nayem who looked after us superbly at breakfast, great fun and very attentive. We were disappointed with La Nonna italian restaurant, the pizzas were doughy and the pasta very bland. A shame as it's a pleasant dining room. Similarly, the service in La Brasserie was very slow, seemingly due to being short staffed, which was also apparent at the main bar, and the bar in Le Mirador. Lunch at the premium suite pool bar was excellent every day and Chuss and Julia's impromptu entertainment extravaganza was hilarious and the service as good as the food. The €4 daily charge to ise the room safe felt unnecessary, but the hospitality showers after checkout was useful. The spa is sublime, one of the nicest I've been to, and my wife and daughters all had treatments which they thoroughly enjoyed. A great spring break, would recommend.
