I hate to say "Don't stay here," but the entire complex has multiple issues. We rented Room 1809 through Airbnb, and it was a complete disaster. The garage and several areas, including our bathroom, smelled like raw sewage. The garage, a popular spot for pigeons, resulted in our car being pooped on twice. The elevators near the garage were out of order, forcing us to walk to the far end of the complex to use a cumbersome 7-digit code prior to entering the floor number. Without a luggage cart, we had to make three trips to transport our belongings. Additionally, the jacuzzi in the upper pool area was broken despite assurances that everything was functioning. The portable air conditioner in the unit required ice to operate, which we weren't informed about, making the first night unbearably hot. We encountered further problems with amenities: unclear washing machine instructions, no laundry detergent, and missing washcloths and hand towels. The entire unit had mold in the dishwasher, broken and missing fixtures throughout, and missing cabinets in the kitchen. I wound up cleaning the kitchen cabinets, drawers, and common areas because they were all sticky when I touched them. The complex is poorly maintained, with pigeon and seagull droppings on the outdoor furniture. The only highlight was the infinity pool with its ocean view. The owner suggested we should have notified him on arrival so he could address the issues. Given we were only there for 2 days and faced a non-refundable payment, we didn’t want to deal with moving. He only responded with copies of positive reviews. Perhaps it’s suitable for those looking to party or pack in as many people as possible, but my boyfriend and I just wanted a nice ocean view. Though we planned on cooking in the unit, instead we tried to stay out of it as much as possible to salvage our stay. We paid over $500 for 2 nights and felt incredibly stressed. On a positive note, we enjoyed some great meals in Puerto Nuevo and Rosarito.
