Maybe because it was off season, this hotel didn't reach our expectation. The room was very small for the price and the staff was not really welcoming. As we didn't want the breakfast buffet but just a coffee, we were asked to sit in the waiting room and not in the restaurant, and had to pay 5 Euro for two small watery cups of coffee !!!! Given the price of the room, it's unfortunate....the only BUT...is that we were recomended a very good restaurant for the diner, La Capitainerie.

Perfect location with easy walking access to the sea and harbour. Great service with really helpful staff and lovely food, we had both lunch and dinner and both were excellent. We stayed one night but were sorry to leave and definitely plan to return for a longer stay.

My partner and I arrived without a reservation asking for a one night stay. We had a small room with a partial sea view, which was fine. The hotel is beautiful and in a remote spot in Treboul, not far from a small beach. The restaurant was closed for dinner so we were directed to ‘La Capitainerie’. a ten minute walk along the coast in the pouring rain! The next day my partner wasn’t feeling well and the young man on Reception very kindly arranged for us to move to another superior room for a second night. Fortunately I booked for dinner, which was delicious - the restaurant was full. I chose burrata to start, followed by goujons of hake on vegetables, then a plate of cheeses. Breakfast on our first morning was good, however on the second morning at 0930 there were no croissants or juice and I had to ask for more baguette. Service was good, especially Reception. We’ll happily return.

We totally concur with MGBGT’s review from June - good value for money, with delicious breakfasts, innovative evening meals - sensibly portioned - comfortable beds, tasteful decor and friendly staff. The plunge pool & sauna were a welcome extra at the end of a series of blustery days on the Finistere coast. (You need to book your half hour time slot.) One suggestion would be the addition of a few more hooks in the bedroom for coats, swim costumes & bath robes, but only a very minor criticism!

We were first hesitant to book because the reviews were so controversial. This is what we saw: both the good and the bad are true. Let's start with the things that are negative: old building, three floors, no elevator, teeny-weeny rooms, not enough parking. The pool is a joke, I do not know why they even bother showing it in their ad. Now the good: Room very clean, beds comfortable, see-view from top floor. Breakfast is fantastic, dinner, too. Amazing design everywhere: what you can achieve with a little bit of money and lots of creative ideas. The hotel is on the expensive side, it's a high end 3 star, surely for financial reasons, because it would be more expensive to run as a 4 star. Finally, we did not regret our choice, considering also the limitations in alternatives.

A beautiful hotel, tastefully decorated with a range of locally produced art. Our bedroom was a little on the small side but this inconvenience was more than made up by the excellent food and very helpful and friendly staff. A bonus was a small sandy bay a very short walk from the hotel.

We booked 11 rooms for a car group a couple of years ago and have only just made the trip. It was perfect in all respects, the patron was very accommodating with a few last minute changes in dining requirements, the breakfast and dinners were excellent, the rooms varied in size and price, but even the smaller rooms were well received. Nicely furnished and well kept building and grounds. A bit difficult to find even with sat nav but easy with practice. We just fitted into the car park but there is parking down quiet streets nearby, no issues or concerns. We were a chatty bunch of friends but no-one complained, it is not a place for late night drinking. The garden is suitable for relaxing with a book with drinks ordered from reception. The staff were excellent and worked with a smile, drinks orders and food delivery to the tables was accurate and timely. The chef was able to cope with dietary requirements, most of which were pre-ordered. The continental breakfasts were plentiful and of high quality. A great place for access to the local sandy beaches and the town with a bit of a walk. Not a tourist trap for the masses and it suited us as a base for touring around or relaxing. It will be nice to return soon. Many thanks for looking after us.

Secondo me è sopra valutato.
