Visited this hotel in September. We booked a superior sea view room. I’d heard the hotel had been refurbished. We had a room in the fourth floor with views overlooking the pool and sea.. I have to agree with many reviews about the room. I stayed here before and preferred the layout then. For me the decor and layout didn’t work, too many heavy cushions etc and virtually no storage. I thought one huge chair on the balcony with a bench was not well thought out. Bathroom was good with an easy walk in shower. Not being exactly youthful I found the floor level safe awkward. However it’s only a room so Not a major issue. It was clean and quiet. How much time do you actually spend in a room ? First few days of holiday were good. We liked the location the food, the drinks. Cheerful service. However on the fourth night my partner took unwell. Reception called the doctor and ultimately my partner was taken to hospital by ambulance. He spent six days in intensive care. All the reception staff were wonderful. They showed concern and kindness gave me advice and helped organise accommodation at their sister hotel as we could not leave when expected.they organised taxis and advised me on buses. I never felt alone. The Jet 2 reps Peter and Debs were outstanding. Jet2Uk created untold stress with wrong information but they guided me through everything and worked outwith their hours to help. These people are what makes this hotel really work. I spent a really worrying 6 days but felt safe and looked after during it. I cannot understand some of the comments made criticising the staff. I witnessed some guests being really rude to one young receptionist. She was in tears. That’s unacceptable. You can never please everyone but for me the positives in this hotel outweigh the negatives. Thank you for your care and kindness.

The beautiful smell of the spa hits you as soon as you enter the hotel, a feel of holiday relaxation straight away. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, they were a pleasure to deal with. My superior room was everything I needed it to be and beautifully refurbished with an amazing balcony and views. Great food and large pool area with ample room for everyone. 1 minute walk down to the beach for beautiful sunrises looking out to the east and lovely walks and restaurants along the front. A fantastic and restful stay. Thank you so much.

This is my second stay at the Pollensa Park Spa and it did not disappoint. Hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. Warm welcome on arrival, great facilities, very clean and comfortable rooms. We stayed bed and breakfast. The buffet was excellent. Well appointed room with balcony, serviced daily, in room safe, decent bathroom with good shower pressure. Lovely facilities including traditional pool and excellent kids pool. Lots of sunbeds. Pool and indoor bar. Location is perfect, close to the beach and pleasant walk along to the promenade to the town square. As returning guests we even received a free bottle of sparkling wine which was a really nice touch. I love it here and if all goes to plan will be back for another visit next year.

This is a quiet hotel . It’s a short walk to the centre along a lovely promenade . Palms bar directly opposite has the most amazing tribute acts on if you fancy a night out . The hotel itself is very clean, the staff are really helpful and the food is good. There isn’t a lot of choice but it’s hot and tasty . We went all inclusive for 9 nights . On arrival at 9pm we were greeted by Miguel ( lovely man in reception ) to a cold buffet and drinks in the restaurant which was lovely . The rooms on initial look seemed very modern but they are totally impractical for a visit . Whoever designed them needs to look again . Not enough drawer space and the drawers were open , shower was hot but wasn’t very powerful , part of it had broken and the hotel were waiting for replacement parts . Nice layout though with fresh towels every day if you want them . The beds were comfy with nice pillows ( not English ones ) long narrow ones - still they were fine. Good reading lights on the wall but again only one side table with open drawer. You really need the same things on both sides of the bed . The balcony only had one comfy seat and a bench. We have asked for another but as yet it’s not arrived . Free wifi throughout the hotel and at the poolside - a must and very welcome . Thank you . The TV wasn’t brilliant with an intermittent signal so not always had access to British TV. But having said all that we would come again . would come again .

I absolutely love Puerto Pollensa. Having stayed at Pollensa Park and Spa six or seven times in the last 12 years, under Cabot and Fergus management, I was excited to be returning for another stay, especially as we'd splashed out and booked one of the newly-refurbished 'Superior Sea View Double Rooms'. Unfortunately, the excitement was short lived. Allocated a fourth-floor room right next to the lifts and stairwell (not a great start when you're a light sleeper), we opened the door to discover a room that seriously lacked any consideration to the requirements of a traveller on holiday – basically, space to put your stuff. Combine this with the quality of workmanship that could not have been any further away from the 'Superior' description if it had tried – large exposed holes in the bedroom and bathroom, burn holes in surfaces, and the worst paint job I've ever seen in a hotel, regardless of it's star rating. We immediately asked if we could change rooms, to one of the older rooms, forgoing the extra money we'd paid for the 'Superior' room, predominantly due to the noisy position, but were only offered a similar-style 'Superior' room overlooking the noisy street. The once reasonably-adequate storage space for clothes, had been replaced with an indoor 'cubby-hole' seating area, which I doubt anyone will ever use for that purpose. A new (wonky) clothes rail with a dozen hangers sat alongside a 4-shelf unit – not wide enough to fit a folded t-shirt on. No other storage space. No drawers. Not even any hooks. Really not sure where the team responsible for this refurbishment at Cabot Pollensa Park and Spa think two people are going to store 10 days/two weeks worth of clothes etc in their 'Superior' rooms? Even the safe has been moved from a handy, eye-level position in the older rooms, to a low-level unit, making it really difficult to see to use and also, I should imagine, not ideal for older people who'd struggle to bend down to use it. During our stay we had to ask twice to have the floors cleaned (there was stains on the floor from the previous occupants when we moved into the room), despite this being listed as a daily occurrence. Communal areas in the hotel weren't cleaned regularly and the areas around the large sunbeds had plastic cups, paper bags, pool floats laying around for days without being cleaned away. Cooked food at breakfast was luke-warm at best and on checking out, we weren't even asked if we'd enjoyed our stay. Jet2 pitch Pollensa Park and Spa as a 4-star hotel. Not anymore. Really not sure what has happened here? Our 10-night experience has left me saddened and confused (that a once-loved hotel has got something so fundamental to its existence so very wrong) and incredibly tired as I barely slept due to the lift noise, guests up and down the stairs all night, a really uncomfortable bed and being struck down with the resident sickness and diarrhea bug for 2 days. My love for Puerto Pollensa will live on, but no longer

Great place, delicious food. The restaurant manager (in a white shirt) carefully supervises and organizes the rooms, seating guests and supervising the team. Comfortable and nice rooms, animators Roberto and Dima make your time more enjoyable with attractions. I especially liked yoga and archery A large selection of all-inclusive drinks. Beach close to the hotel. Everywhere is clean, the service is nice. I highly recommend it

We did a 10 day holiday at pollensa park and spa from the 23rd August to 2nd September. We truly had an amazing time. I travelled with my husband and 4 kids 5,13,14,16. The water park is amazing for the younger kids and was alot better that the pictures. There was always plenty of seating around the pools. Weather was amazing. We were all inclusive, the drink options was one of the best we've had, they literally had everything. Even cider on draft which I have never had before. Plenty of food from morning to night with the pool bar providing a hot buffet all day. I do feel that they could have done with 1 or 2 more members of staff serving on the bars in the day and the evening as they do get quite large queues for drinks. The main food hall was your average all inclusive buffet. We have had better before but there was always something everyone could eat. They did do a themed American food night 3 days a week at the pool bar restaurant but unfortunately this isn't displayed well and we only found out about this on our last day which was abit disappointing. Staff were great, Roberto and the entertainment team work hard to get everyone involved and provide a range of activities day and night. With there being 6 of us we had 2 rooms with an interconnecting door. The rooms are very small and clearly designed to just be doubles. They just placed an extra bed in each room to accommodate the 6 of us with left no room for anything. Storage is very limited but we always take our own hangers. They have a lovely egg chair on the balcony, but I feel they could have done with 2 of these or a standard 2 seater chair set ad the bench is uncomfortable if you want to sit on the balcony together. I would definitely advise taking Mosquito sprays and wipes as they are everywhere. The location is great, right outside the hotel is a couple of other hotels/restaurants, 2 sports bars and a couple of shops. 30 seconds to the beach and a lovely promenade with plenty of shops and restaurants. The town square is about a 10-15 minute walk and provides more bars and restaurants. Our older 3 did become alittle bored half way through the holiday as they didn't want to join in with and of the activities but that's just teenagers for you. Overall we had a great holiday and we would definitely return in the future.
