"The hotel is located next to a rice field, and it is very relaxing to have breakfast facing the pastoral scenery. The decoration and facilities of the guest rooms are relatively simple, but they are equipped with an ironing board and iron and have basic functions. There are few surrounding facilities and it is inconvenient to buy things. If you are traveling as a family, you may need more convenient accommodation."

"I highly recommend this place for your stay in Polonnaruwa. You can enjoy a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast on the terrace nestled in a quiet forest. A short walk away is a lake where you can stroll along the shore or watch the sunset. The room was very comfortable, equipped with everything you need for your stay, including air conditioning and a hot water shower. We only stayed one night due to our itinerary, but I recommend staying longer if you have the time."

"The only disappointment with this hotel was we could only stay one night! It’s set in a very quiet location overlooking a huge lake and surrounding bush land which made kicking back at the outside bar and lounges serene and relaxing after a hard day cycling. The rooms were large, very clean with huge bathroom. Most of the rooms had balconies and views over the lake. Immediately after the late November cyclone, visitor numbers were low and the buffet had been placed on temporary hold. However the al-acarte menus had a large selection for breakfast and dinner and the food quality was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful"
