Das Zimmer war sehr klein, hat uns aber gereicht für das Wochenende. Alles war sehr sauber. Grenzwertig ist die Glasschiebetür zum Bad. Die bekam man nur mit größter Mühe auf und zu. Die Küche im Restaurant ist ganz hervorragend und nicht teuer. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten vom 27.03 bis 30.03.25 im 4* Hotel Royal ein Doppelzimmer gebucht. Wir bekamen das Zimmer 215 zugewiesen und betrachten es mehr als eine Zumutung solche Zimmer als Doppelzimmer zu vermarkten. Das ist ein Einzelzimmer!!! Für 2 Personen von der Fläche und der Bettenausstattung niemals einem 4 * Hotel entsprechend und nicht hinnehmbar. Für des zweite Bett fehlt der Zugang z. Lichtschalter u. bei Dunkelheit ist man auch noch orientierungslos. Ich stürzte, bedingt durch die Enge, über den Koffer auf dem Weg zum Bad. Das Bad ist in Ordnung. Es fehlt eine Ablage (ähnlich Nachtschrank bzw. wie auf der anderen Seite) für Brille, Medikamente, Getränk, etc.. Als Alternative blieb nur der Fußboden. Es ist also eindeutig als Einzelzimmer konzipiert. Es ist dann unmöglich, wenn es als Doppelzimmer verkauft wird. Der Tresor ist für Senioren in der Höhe und im Anbringungsort für Senioren ungeeignet. Man braucht extra eine Taschenlampe und die Bedienung bzw. Nutzung ist nur mit "Kniefall", sofern man noch kann, möglich. Das Bad ist in Ordnung. Eine Reklamation wurde in der Rezeption, nicht gerade freundlich, abgewiesen, da "ausgebucht" sei.

Es handelt sich um ein an eine Therme angeschlossenes 4Sterne Hotel in ruhiger Lage am Kurpark Bad Brambach. Das per Bademantel Gang erreichbare Schwimmbad 32 Grad warm mit kleinem, aber schönen Sauna Aussenbereich ist ein Highlight. Wir hatten all inclusive- alkoholische Getränke ab 17.30 Uhr (Bier und gerade so trinkbarer Hauswein). Positiv: Speisen sehr gut, beim servierten Hauptgang (4 Wahlmöglichkeiten) Nachschlag möglich; negativ: man muss aus 2 Essenszeiten wählen, die Bar ist nicht durchgehend besetzt, so dass längere Getränke Wartezeiten entstehen. Insgesamt Preis/Leistung mit 1500€ für 2 Personen und 7 Tage all in, Mittagsimbiss, Kaffee und Kuchen ok.

Das Essen ist hervorragend. Leider muss man sich für eine von 2 Essenszeiten am Abend entscheiden. Dadurch schafften wir es am Anreise Tag leider nicht mehr in die Sauna. Die Zimmer sind klein und die Heizung ließ sich nicht regeln. Die war erst ganz aus und wir froren am ersten Abend. Repariert wurde sie erst am Folge Tag und ließ sich dann aber nicht mehr runterregeln. Was soll denn das? Die Rezeption konnte hier nicht weiter helfen. Bei Anreise muß man immer noch in das Bad latschen und ein Ticket für den Parkplatz lösen. Warum das nicht das Hotel für den Gast übernehmen kann, versteh ich nicht. Das Personal im Restaurant und an der Bar war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass es für den Übergang zum Bad ein Armband gibt, die dafür genutzte Zimmerkarte verliert man schnell mal. Auch könnten die Bademäntel unterschiedliche Farbgürtel vertragen, damit man bei den 10 Bademänteln vor der Sauna nicht den falschen greift. Also bestenfalls selber was einfallen lassen. Im Bad selbst kann man ab 8 Uhr bereits schwimmen. Sehr angenehm. Und auch der Wald ringsum ist eine Wanderung wert.

Ein angebliches Superior Zimmer 246 das 25 qm groß sein sollte war 14,85 qm groß im Dachgeschoß, wir fühlten uns wie in einer Dachkammer. In den Fliesenfugen war Schimmelbefall, ich habe das Fotodokumentiert. Das entspricht nicht dem Niveau eines 4. Sterne Hotels. Der Renovierungsstau ist erheblich. Trotz mehrfacher Beschwerde bekamen wir kein anderes Zimmer. Es ist traurig das man sich nicht mehr auf Standards verlassen kann, dass erkennt man auch an den Bewertungen, negative werden schnell entfernt.
