Due to a temporary change in itinerary, we stayed in Viana do Castelo, a small town in northern Portugal for one night.
The hotel was newly opened in 2004, and you can obviously smell the decoration, but the facilities are very new, the room is relatively spacious, and the windows can be opened for ventilation. Although there is no kettle in the room, there is a water dispenser on the first floor, which also provides hot water and coffee. The first impression of staying is very good.
It is worth mentioning that there is freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast, and I give it full marks just for this reason.
A restaurant at the port is a two-minute walk from the hotel. The design is very novel and you can enjoy delicious food while watching the train pass through the bridge. It is a great experience.
The front desk service was also very enthusiastic. They also provided charging cables and helped to exchange money. Overall, I was very satisfied.

We didn't really know where we were going to sleep and it was actually a great choice. New, beautiful hotel, simple rooms (I honestly think it's ideal for a few nights), two coffee machines, tea machines, etc. and a juice machine where we can serve ourselves at no cost, breakfast with everything we expect in a hotel breakfast.
Despite the hotel being located near very busy roads, we never had any problems with noise in the room and at night.
We liked it a lot.

Well located, there is free parking.
Spacious and well-equipped room. Everything is new.
There is free coffee, tea, and water on the ground floor 24 hours a day. There is a microwave and tables so you can eat what you bring. A real success.
They accept animals. We brought a small dog, which requires an extra charge. However, they did not give me a bed or a water bowl.

Very good choice, considering price/quality.
Varied and pleasant breakfast. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Just one fix, mattresses and pillows could be better. Hot drinks machine always available and free of charge (coffee, cappuccino, desafina, etc.).
