Great rate and room. Stayed in port arthur in March at the holiday inn but their rates increased 100%, new regional Mgr so we checked around and elected to try super 8 out. Breakfast bar was less than IHG's but with $100/night rate difference what was provided was more than adequate. Only complaint, cereal and no milk and waffle maker with no batter

Everything was great other than breakfast. They were out of eggs, milk, fruit looked old, waffle batter empty, didn't seem to be anybody tending to it..etc.

There was a roach in our room and there was a sign on the mirror stating that they only wash the sheets and towels every three days.

Being Over-Charge and the Manager does not know Math. This is not the 1st time I have had $$ Issue staying at Super 8

Checked in on a Friday after driving all day from almost 600 miles away. Room had stains on carpet, plugs were loose and couldn't charge phone. Toilet seat was missing bolt holding seat down. We were t ok ld unfortunately it wouldn't be fixed until next day. Told them my wife isn't going to pee standing up since the seat was literally was being held on by one bolt. We were moved to another room. This was close to 11pm. I took pictures. Finally got to sleep. The next day about 12ish we received a call saying that we were given a handicap room that had been booked, we were told the reservation was cancelled, and they needed to move us again. I am a disabled veteran and walk with a cane. I drove back to the hotel and had to once again pack all of our stuff, except this time we had to carry it with us. The room they were changing us to needed to be cleaned. When we finally got back to the hotel and got our new room (3 rooms in less than 24 hours), turned on the ac so we can go to bed and it literally sounds like a Wind Tunnel Howling!!😡 I offered for them to hear. Tried turning on the TV to drown out the noise to no avail. Turned off the AC and it got hot. So now it's after midnight, turned AC back on and extremely upset. I have a long drive in 8 hours. When I complained I was offered a comp of 25% of one nights, booked for 2 nights, stay which is equivalent to $16.00. Nothing more, because we were already received a Veterans discount when we booked the trip 2 days prior. Save yourself the headache and Stay anywhere
