Hotel Dream Palace

Worth for the cost. Friendly staff. Tasty food.

I went on a solo trip and checked in on 14th January 2026. The first thing that struck me was that there wasn't a single staff present in the entire hotel. I didn't even have to do the mandatory filling of details or show my identity. Straight away I was put in my room. The next thing was the size of blankets which were so thin that it reminded me of wafers. I simply couldn't make out how anyone can even think of using them to protect them from cold . Even a shawl is thicker than it. Even with three taken together I didn't see any use to give me some comfort when the ac was on.Second shock came to find that wifi was not at all working .Even after connecting my gadgets I could not receive any signal. I had to come to the reception every time I needed to use the net. I could not get any service for anything on the pretext all staff are out on leave for Pongal. It is beyond my understanding how without a single staff a hotel can admit guests. Isn't a hotel supposed to provide services also ***** with accomodation?At night I was awakened by a power cut which caused me discomfort.Actually it was not power cut but tripping due to the faulty electrical arrangements of the hotel itself. Had to wait half an hour before power can be restored this spoiling my sleep for the rest of the night. When power was restored I switched on the light to find the entire room infested with jumbo sized rats and bathroom infested with cockroaches. The power situation went on next day as well. Multiple times the power got tripped and I had to step out to call somebody to fix it thus spoiling my sleep for the entire two nights I stayed there. The hotel staff are all clueless about their responsibilities towards guest. Breakfast although supposed to be complimentary was not served unless I had to raise my voice against it. Overall it was a bad experience to put it very simply. No question about recommending. Will advice everyone to stay away miles from it

The hotel is terrible. It’s not a dream palace, it’s a nightmare palace. The bathrooms were so dirty. The bed had bugs, ants, cockroaches. The toilet seat was missing from one room. They trick you into getting non ac rooms. This property should be removed from *******. It’s ruining the reputation.

Though the reception looks awesome don’t get fooled by looking at its reception. Bathrooms are not cleaned at all from a long time. If you ask they will not clean thoroughly. Not maintained as shown in the pictures. Not Recommend

Had a nice time. The agents were knowledgeable about everything we asked. Rooms were kept clean, lobby was clean as well. All the requests were taken care of and they made sure we are okay during our complete stay
