Well maintained. Friendly staff. Quiet area. Decent amenities. Comfortable bunk-beds. Free Wi-Fi. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I stayed a few nights at Jikeleza Lodge. The staff was welcolming and friendly, always here to help if needed. The room and common space are clean and it's nice to cook in the kitchen. I enjoyed my stay, I highly recommend it.

I have to start with admitting, that Port Elizabeth in general wouldn't get a high ranking from me. I didn't really enjoy the city, even though the Addo Elephant Park definitely made up for it. The Jikeleza Lodge was fine to stay for one night and they have amazing staff and great people there, but the accommodation was just not it. A little bit too dirty, improvised and used.

I was not feeling free to park a car outside on the road at night where there was no security. During the day there was no shade were we can park the cars. There is only one shower on the down stars, so it delays if many people want to shower.

The place is dirty and looks nothing like the pictures. The staff is unprofessional and isn't friendly. There is no safe parking and we did not enjoy our family at all! I wouldn't recommend this place to any traveler.
