The Slipway B&B is a Grade II listed building that dates back to 1527 and is located opposite Port Isaac harbor. It features adults-only B&B accommodations with Restaurant & Bar on the ground floor with an outdoor terrace.
All of the bedrooms have small private bathrooms and some have panoramic sea views of Port Isaac harbor. Two rooms feature village views. The loft suite features a king-size bed and a small living area and a bathroom with a bath.
The Restaurant specializes in local seafood has also a selection of non-seafood, vegetarian options are available and variety of drinks. It also serves Cornish cream teas and a range of scones, cakes and sandwiches made to order. Please check opening times as these may vary and some days Restaurant & Bar may be closed in season.
The Restaurant and Bar will be shut between November and March.
Please note there are no parking facilities by the B&B, you are welcome to drop off your luggage if you arrive earlier. The walk from and to the car park might take anything between 5-20minutes depending on physical stamina and might be difficult for older and disabled people.
In summer check-in time is between 4pm and 6pm, in winter between 2pm and 4pm.
Breakfast is included in the price and provided between 8.30am and 9.30am. Check-out 10am.
During winter only Continental breakfast will be served to the guests in the morning.
Only during high season April till October full buffet and cooked breakfast will be available.
The closest train station is Bodmin Parkway. You will require to pre-book a taxi to get to Port Isaac.
Places of interest include Tintagel Castle is 10.2 miles away, Boscastle is 12.6 miles and Newquay Cornwall Airport is 21 miles away.

Highly recommend for a stay in Port Issac. Warm, historic and charming with modern amenities. We stayed in room 11 and didn’t want to leave! Beautiful view overlooking the harbor from sitting area and bed was really comfy with lots of space to put our things. Wish we stayed longer than the 2 nights we booked. Staff were all great - including in the restaurant.

A wonderful location right in the middle of town. The room was quite nice and had a great ocean breeze. I highly recommend. Breakfast was quite nice also. The room was quite quiet in the evening and I got a very good sleep. Some rooms have balconies also.

The Slipway is really lovely. It is in the prime position in Port Isaac, right at the centre of everything. The staff are charming and the breakfast is great. Room 11 is fabulous - what a view!

Had a great stay in the Slipway, delicious food in the restaurant generally and for breakfast, the Full Cornish is a great shout. Plenty of it too. Bedrooms have had a decor refresh and the en-suites also, very clean. Great location in the heart of Port Issac beside the harbour , however you need to park up in the New Rd Long Stay car park.

We stopped in Port Isaac to do the Doc Martin Tour and stayed at the Slipway B&B. It was a delightful experience in a quaint hotel in the center of the village. The staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. We'd stay there again.

The B&B was very nice and well equipped, the staff very professional. Rooms are nice and charming, but ours was very small with a tiny bathroom. Breakfast was good, even though there is a surcharge for a cappuccino. We stayed there for one night on the SWCP, and would definitely do it again.

Can’t fault this place room was lovely, very clean, nice complementary toiletries, we had evening meal the food fantastic, the Cornish breakfast next morning was very good quality. Very friendly staff.

A one night stay, whilst walking 'the path'. Ideally located for this - the next day starts about 20 metres away. We were shown to our room - a nice touch. Room comfortable, and of a reasonable size. Breakfast the next day was good - although beware, portions are extremely large. We both struggled with the 'full Cornish' and wished we had opted for the 'small Cornish' instead.
