Close to the city center, no breakfast, old hotel refurbishment, soundproofing near the road is average, not recommended for people with poor sleep. The hotel is clean and there is nothing special about it.

Our room was a double queen. Had a small closet and zero drawers for clothes. I chose this hotel because it advertised EV chargers. I called ahead to confirm they were operational. When we arrived, only 1 of the 4 was working but it was for a Tesla, which our car is not. Not one of 4 staff members we asked knew anything about the chargers. Heat wasn't working the first day. Windows had no insulation and water puddled on the sills. Makeup mirror in bathroom was installed ridiculously low, requiring you to bend over to use.

Room size and bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Only negatives were the tv was not a smart tv. So limited viewing options. And the $25 a day mandatory amenities fee is steep if you are not using the amenities.

My first room didn't have heat and the staff was very helpful to get me into a new room. That room, however, had some issues as well. But, for the price, it was a good stay with very nice staff.

Hotel is difficult to get to, on a block with “BUS ONLY” lanes and a “NO TURN” sign on the street you MUST turn on to access the entrance. Heat didn’t work in first room (but I was promptly moved to another room). New key card didn’t work……so another trip to the lobby.

We loved staying here and definitely will again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We came to Portland for see an exhibition at the museum, and were completely comfortable and cozy at the hotel - thank you!
