I had made a reservation at Pousada Tabajuba, since I had already stayed there years ago and I really liked the quality of the services, products offered and care, just like when I stayed at Tabapitanga, which is part of the same group.
However, it changed ownership and became known as Marajuba, and we only found out about this when we entered the hotel, as we had booked on trip.com under the name Tabajuba.
Unfortunately, with the change, everything changed for the worse. We stayed in apartment 19, and when we entered, we noticed a big difference: an extremely old bed and, therefore, extremely uncomfortable.
The towels were also old and the softness had long since disappeared. In fact, I don't think they know about fabric softener. They were almost tearing from normal use.
Despite being well prepared, breakfast is very basic, leaving you with a strong sense of nostalgia for what Tabajuba used to offer.
However, the staff is very kind, efficient and pleasant, making up for the neglect of the new administration.
Honestly, if I had known that this inn had been sold and became Marajuba, I would have gone to Pousada Tabapitanga, given the quality of the previous group.
I thought it was an unforgivable mistake on trip.com's part to not inform me that, despite having made a reservation at Pousada Tabajuba, I would be staying at Pousada Marajuba.
Regrettable!!!
