Hotel e Resort Villas de Trancoso

We stayed at Villas di Trancoso for three days in January 2024. We totally enjoyed our time in this amazing place on Trancoso beach. We were graciously upgraded to the amazing Sky Villa, two-level, 200 square meters, private villa in the heart of the property. Every morning we enjoyed a fabulous freshly made breakfast, with customized choices at the beautiful pool house. We then enjoyed the exclusive beach area equipped with comfortable beach beds and chairs. The beach around the Villas was gorgeous and clean. There were excellent lunch choices and we enjoyed the always friendly and attentive staff. For dinner we explored a couple of restaurants in the Quadrado de Trancoso recommended by the hotel but also enjoyed a private, Bahia-style dinner in the pool house of the property. The Villas de Trancoso is located inside the most beautiful, perfectly maintained tropical garden, with birds singing and sometimes monkeys visiting. You just can go wrong here and we highly recommend this small piece of paradise. Thank you to the amazing team and thank you for spoiling us.

We knew that Trancoso would be unforgettable. We travel worldwide for our event productions or vacations. We love feeling at home when we want to unwind. Villas de Trancoso is a unique place because everything there is wholesome and simple in the grand tradition of high-quality guest houses. In a world where everything is complicated and overrated, living a few days like at home in the midst of nature and genuinely kind people is truly admirable. Villas de Trancoso is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in Trancoso. Our villa was clean and very well-appointed with luxurious beds and bathrooms. The pool, the beach and the gorgeous beach bar were truly amazing. Best breakfasts ever by a very talented chef! Everyone who works here clearly loves what they do, and I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay.

Very attentive, friendly and helpful staff (thanks Gabi & Luis!), great service and magnificent garden & villas. Nice little breakfast buffet with plenty of options and daily changing specials to order. Housekeeping crew was amazing and took good care of my stuff and the villa. Personally I would have loved to have some options for wellness treatments - as well as some more vegetarian options on the menu (even though there were some delicious ones). I had a great time at Villas de Trancoso and would highly recommend it.

We love Villas de Trancoso. It is one of our favorite places in the world. A beautiful and intimate setting where we can always reconnect as a couple, relax, and get pampered by the Villas' staff. Rating this place with 5 stars doesn't seem enough. We'll be back soon :)

This is an exquisite gem in Trancoso, a tranquil and luxuriously stylish tropical sanctuary. The spacious suites exude charm and elegance. Indulge in a delightful breakfast. Conveniently situated just 5 minutes from the Quadrado and right in front of Nativos Beach, offering your private and comfortable beach club access. The staff is lovely and caring. Truly the best holidays ever.

We stayed four nights at Villas de Trancoso and enjoyed every moment. The friendly staff went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met: making dinner reservations, booking taxis, arranging the kayaking, even leaving a present for the three women of the family on International Women’s Day. One of the highlights was having breakfast by the pool, surrounded by a most exquisite tropical garden. Kudos to the landscape artist and gardeners! Also, congrats to the kitchen staff for making such a delicious breakfast, full of gourmet choices, which changed on a daily basis! Thank you Tai, Renata, Gabriela, Hanuman, Maria, and waiters, for taking care of every detail! Villas de Trancoso is one of the best accommodations we’ve ever stayed at. We’d love to come back!

For the second time this year I trusted Villas de Trancoso with my family vacation and once again the wonderful experience that the resort and staffed provided was beyond I could had imagined. My family stayed at the two bedrooms suite for 4 days. From the moment I made reservations, the staff provided arrangement options for transportation from and to the airport and to downtown. This is undoubtedly a 5 star resort, with prime location at the coast, white sand beaches and blue warm Atlantic Ocean. The landscape is lush and tranquil, the rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff is the most friendly and attentive I had ever experienced, with no exception. The food is amazing and fresh, prepared by excellent cooks. I can’t wait to return to Villas. Highly recommend.

9 years ago I was planning my first trip to Brazil during Christmas and New Years. A co-worker of my travel bestie sent us locations and accommodations around the country worth of visiting. At the time, I picked Buzios and Rio de Janeiro but knew I would come back. Well, it took 9 years to return and this time to the state of Bahia for Carnival. Villas de Trancosa was on the list of recommended accommodations from 9 years ago and it delivered for 5 amazing nights! An intimate and relaxing boutique resort located about an hours drive from Porto Seguero airport and 5-10mins drive to the Quadrado on a long stretch of beach with soft tan sand and shallow waters during low tide. The staff is 5+++ stars. They all remembered my name although I couldn’t recall all of theirs in return. I don’t speak Portuguese. However, many of the staff speak English and Google translate was very helpful this trip. The staff arranged all my tours, transportation and dinner reservations. All of their recommendations were on point. The villa was spacious, comfortable and has an authentic Brazilian vibe with use of beautiful wood work throughout. Breakfast is included and consists of a la carte items and buffet style items- luncheon meat, cheese, breads, cereals, fresh fruit, fresh juices, breads and pastries. However, the tapiocas were my favorite. The restaurant is pool adjacent and serves breakfast lunch and dinner. I ate dinner on property one night and I highly recommend the lobster! I spent a lot of time at the beach- there are cabanas with beds and chaise loungers with umbrellas in a sandy area just before the small sand dune or you can opt for the beach chairs with umbrellas directly on the beach. If you walk about 20 mins to the left facing the beach. You will encounter a river that meets the ocean and is shallow enough during low tide to cross. I ended my stay with a massage in the spa villa which should not be missed. All the doors were open, wooden window coverings lowered and the fan made for a serene yet cool experience. The chirping birds set a relaxing mood while my very talented therapist lulled me into a state of drooling for 60 mins. Such a great little property with all the amenities you need.
