From the communication booking early in January to our arrival in May every thing went well. Great location, chose a room with sea view and balcony, excellent position giving the best views. Breakfast offering a bit basic, but sufficient. Staff really pleasant and helpful. Parking is simple, it has its own area opposite the Hotel. The old town a ten minute walk away. Definitely recommend this Hotel, we will visit again. Thanks for a super stay.

This is a VERY special hotel. The staff seems to have been here since the 1980:s, all of them, and they are not very warm and welcoming. Time has stod still here, and there is absolutely a charm about that. The only staff that was warm and friendly were the cleaning ladies. The breakfast was a joke, one of the worst I have experienced. Some guest got to get a omelette but nobody offered you - I got one just because I heard an italian order one. I have read a lot of reviews and the positive thing I can say is: the rooms are fresh and they are not very small. The location is good, 10 minutes walk to the harbor.

Location is oceanfront and convenient. Restaurant options are just a short walk from the property and easy walk into the heart of Portoferraio. If you are coming by ferry from the mainland it is just a quick drive to the property. Our room was a small suite with a separate sitting area. We had a balcony in each room overlooking the ocean. Each balcony had a clothesline which was perfect since we needed to wash out some of our travel clothes. There is parking available at the property. Breakfast buffet offered pastries and cereals but you could order eggs and bacon if you wanted that. They did offer a dinner menu but we never ate there so I cannot comment on the quality. They have a lovely outdoor garden seating area. They had a bar in the lobby area. Room decor needs a facelift but they are clean and large.

Hotel molto sporco e pieno di muffa, solo la posizione si salva! Il personale di sala molto gentile e cortese, il cibo nulla di che ricorda un pò una mensa! Le stanze sono vecchie e i letti molto scomodi, in più un forte odore di muffa pervade tutto l'albergo.

Ottima accoglienza e flessibilità rispetto alle richieste. Personale gentilissimo e cordiale, a tratti familiare, che permette un soggiorno sereno e piacevole. Adatto a mio avviso a coppie e famiglie. Al di là della posizione fantastica, il posto lo fanno le persone, che in questo caso sono super accoglienti. Io ho soggiornato per lavoro ma non esiterò a prenotare una vera e propria vacanza! Grazie!

Niente da dire sulla gentilezza del personale, ma la struttura va rinnovata! Camera piccola con finestra sul ventilatore della cucina, bagno microscopico, da claustrofobia, colazione con buffet disordinato… peccato perché la posizione è bella!! Ma è evidente che negli ultimi 50 anni non sia stato fatto nessun ammodernamento.

Posizione splendida con una meravigliosa vista mare. Zona tranquilla a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro. Fronte spiaggia "Le Ghiaie" con accesso privato e gratuito, ombrelloni e lettini. Ampi parcheggi gratuiti. La nostra camera non aveva la vista mare ma, comunque, era grande con aria condizionata, tv satellitare, connessione Wi-Fi, frigobar, bollitore, telefono, scrivania, poltrona e un armadio a due ante con cassetti e grucce appendiabiti. Il bagno era abbastanza ampio con doccia, bidet, phon e capiente mobiletto portaoggetti. Terrazzino con filo e mollette per stendere i panni. Se dovessimo tornare, chiederei ancora questa camera... I nostri amici hanno alloggiato in una camera più piccola della nostra ma con una vista mare strepitosa. Terrazza vista mare dove è possibile fare colazione, pranzare e cenare. Bellissimo giardino con tavolini, sedie, divanetti e dondolo, per piacevoli momenti di relax sempre con una vista mare incantevole. Bar, soggiorno con tv e piccola palestra. Pulizia ottima con cambio giornaliero della biancheria. Colazione a buffet ottima, varia e abbondante. Cena con menù a scelta (viene chiesto a colazione). Personale (di sala, delle pulizie e amministrativo) molto gentile, disponibile, capace e attento. Esperienza molto positiva.
