Dimora del Podestà

Dimora del Podesta is located on the main road that can followed into town and there are many great restaurants nearby as well as a local beach called Da Ferdinando, that was one of the highlights of our trip. Another highlight was their family owned restaurant, Saraceno d'Ora. The pizza is the best I have had in my life, and we received a discount since we were staying at their B&B. We stayed in the Musica room and it was very spacious and clean. They provided a wonderful and generous breakfast each day on our balcony. The value for the price was very good. I highly recommend this lovely B&B and would stay here again.

This is a very good B&B. The room is very spacious, beautiful and clean. The bathroom was surprisingly big as well. The balcony is nice, but the sea view is more like a small partial view. There are big trees right in front and they block the view almost completely. The breakfast is excellent, so many options: coffee, juice, croissants, muffins, cookies, crackers, Nutella, jams, cheese, bruschetta, fruits. Concetta also asks if you want eggs and bacon and she cooks it for you. The breakfast is served in the patio. You just need to open the door and she brings everything to you. We never met Pietro, but Concetta was there every morning and she is a very sweet person. Fornillo beach is very close, you need to take the killer steps, but is close enough. It’s also close to many restaurants and the main village. There’s a general store across the street, which is very convenient to buy drinks and water for the room. A few points for improvement: - The towels and the sheets are from a very hard material, it feels very harsh and uncomfortable. - Because the kitchen is right in front of the rooms, it’s very noisy in the morning when they start preparing breakfast and we end up waking up very early. Not a great thing if you want to sleep in a little longer. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we would recommend it.
