Sophie's Hostel

Excellent! I have to say, because of its staggered design, each room feels private and undisturbed by others, and you won't disturb anyone else either. The mattress was incredibly soft and very clean. The lady at the front desk was super beautiful and very kind; she helped me store my luggage and even recommended places to visit and local specialty dishes. She was very enthusiastic!

This is an honest review of my stay in a dormitory room at Sophie's Hostel in Prague, Czech Republic. Overall, it was one of the most satisfying hostels I've stayed at in Europe. First, the location and accessibility are excellent. It's close to major tourist attractions and tram stops, making it easy to get around the city. Yet, it's tucked away in an alley, so it was quiet and safe at night. What impressed me most was the cleanliness and facilities. Despite being a dormitory, the room and bedding were very well maintained and pleasant. The interior was cozy and aesthetically pleasing, which made my stay enjoyable. Common areas, showers, and toilets were regularly cleaned and always kept spotless. Thanks to the friendly staff and thoughtful service, I felt completely at ease during my first visit to Prague. I highly recommend this as the best accommodation in Prague for both value for money and atmosphere!

The staff were all really friendly and carefully explained the password to get into the room. The kitchen was generally well-equipped and comfortable to use. I was a bit concerned about the number of showers and toilets, but since it was off-season, it wasn't an issue at all. It's within walking distance to the main bus station, so it's a good option if you're taking Flixbus or the bus to Auschwitz. Personally, I enjoyed looking out at the park from the kitchen chairs.

This time I stayed in a private pod, and it was very clean! Although the space isn't huge, I think it's just right for one person. I'd recommend it to backpackers, but if you have extra large luggage, the space might not be enough. Front Desk Service: Excellent and very responsive! The lobby hosts daily events for guests to interact. For example, I happened to be there during "free pancake night." They also offer light meals and drinks. Common Areas: - There's a kitchen with a fridge for cooking. - The bathrooms and toilets are very new. However, bath towels and toiletries are not provided, so you need to bring your own.
