Service was very good as they'd go over and beyond for you Room was nice Food was ok but slightly slow service Tamara was lovely and Samia also welcomed us nicely. There was a noise is bedroom like a boiler which made it difficult to sleep I don't think I slept more than 2 hrs, the whole time I was there Unfortunately, there were also a lot of mosquitos in the room which is where I got most of my bites - I think they sprayed the room but it didn't work. Vapes would have been great. The pool was not attractive to enter Bath tub not tight enought to hold the water in unfortunately Bonus was the umbrellas, beach towels and beach bag.. and they accept Amex! Great location as right on the beach and restaurants nearby They also let us check-out a little later than the official time which was so nice of them Value for money for Seychelles was great. Value for money overall (worldwide) was pretty expensive.

Reception/Check-in Arrival was very pleasant and the lady that checked us in was wonderful. However the rest of the stay went downhill from there. Room The room was clean and a decent size. However, on the first day we found the shower was broken and the towels were stained. I rang reception, who sent up new towels - but there was no apology, and their response was just "it's fine". I wrote a short note to the manager about the shower and the towels - but never heard anything back (although the shower was fixed that afternoon). The loo roll was from a dispenser - something you'd not even expect in a 3* hotel. The loo roll also ran out. The soap and body wash were also from cheap plastic dispensers - again, you'd definitely not expect this in a 5* hotel. The soap by the sink ran out and was not replaced. The view from the balcony was of a very close tree - so you couldn't see the garden or anything other than the tree (we were in the Paradi Suite) Dining area The dinner menu was very big - there is no way that one chef in a small kitchen can produce that range of food well. Lunch was mediocre. Breakfast was decent though, although during breakfast one morning we were late down, and the lady was spraying cleaning liquid on the tables around us, which was very poor. There was zero atmosphere in the restaurant - so don't bother with it unless you like sitting in a large and quiet room, and go out to eat instead. (Bliss Hotel down the road was excellent in comparison, as was Les Roches about 15 mins drive away but book it) Other The pool was fantastic, and empty, which was good. We borrowed snorkelling equipment which was old and perished and no good for our trip up to Anse Lazio, which was bad. They had an offer of a free car rental for the stay, which was excellent. General In all, it was a substandard stay for a relatively expensive 5* hotel. I'd not recommend at all. Waste of money.

Small hotel with 10 rooms. We booked the hotel due to the exellent reviews in this site but were disdapointed and left after 1 hour. The public area was a diaster. See the photos enclosed. The pool water were green... The beach was not clean. The view from the room included an unfinished building. Entrance to the accomodation building looked bad. I can mantion the room looked very good and the staff friendly and honest (paid back the money exept the 1st night). Since it is a (very) small hotel, the guest has to know that it looks like nobody around...

we enjoyed our stay in this 10 roomed boutique hotel. our junior suite was clean with a comfortable bed with some quirky bits. for example the wifi and shower were at times temperamental . i measured 1mbps download on their hotspot system. to get thru the site you walk over the water on square blocks with 100mm gaps , it works but its an example of art over practicality. ( I would eliminate the gaps and put in a handrail ) TIPS 1. the restaurant is really very good so do get half board, there is a nice pizza place opposite incidentally but not much else around to eat 2 for getting something actually done speak to tahami, the full figured lady on reception, she runs the place in truth. she can sort out your trips and hire cars etc. without her we would have struggled. masons travel may be an alternative to arrange trips. 3 you really MUST arrange a trip every day, you can swim in the pool and walk on the beach but thats about it. like much of seychelles the sea here is full of sea**** 4 4/5 nights should do it here to see main sights and trips on/ from praslin. 5 no its clearly not 5 star, maybe 4 , ambitious marketing there, its a friendly quiet lodging place with a surprisingly good restaurant. 6 general: taxis are expensive, car hire is around €50 per day with €1000 excess, buses are infrequent. they included airport/ferry transfers which was nice

Dhevatara is a wonderful haven and by far the best resort hotel in Praslin for several reasons. First, it is small and cozy so you reeceive a truly personal tratment. Second the rooms and all the facilities are extremely well decorated, functional and comfortable - much better than Lemuria or Raffles for example. Third the beach is steps away (no golf carts needed !!!) and it is large and beautiful. Fourth the staff is very corteous and efficient, training and professionalism well above top resorts standard in Praslin, a mention to the GM REné who called us twice and kindly made us feel most welcome . Fifth, you feel like you are part of a Family and you just feel really well and relaxed. So for these reasons and many more I cannot recommend Dhevatara for any couple who want to spend an unforgettable time in Praslin. My thanks and congratulatiuons to each and every member of the team !

Fair hotel, but definitely NOT a 5-star hotel as advertised. It’s fine as accommodation if you spend your majority of the days outside the hotel but it does not have a cozy/nice pool area or garden. We never spent a day in the hotel by the pool or beach because there wasn’t a nice vibe to the place. No plants/thought behind the layout of the “garden” and no music at all. No music in the restaurant ever, it’s just quiet. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and food quality was good, except for a horrible “ceasar salad” with prawns. Over all, I would not be disappointed if it advertised as a 3.5 star hotel, but if promoting yourself as a 5-star I expect much more finesse.

This hotel understands perfectly how to treat your guests. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne, luggage was taken care of. Rooms are beautiful and very clean, beds are very comfortable and sized to European standard. Water is provided for free in the room, excellent service! The location of the hotel is fine, not much to do in the surrounding area, but the reception can arrange tours (the three island tour is a must!) for you for better prices then the travelagents and are available every day. Well arranged! Diner is of exceptional quality, fresh and plates are dressed with an eye for detail. We were on halfboard, so every day you’re offered a 4 course menu with possibilty to change if something is not to your liking. Breakfast is offered a la carte and of exceptional quality as well. Then the staff. What to say. Happy and smiling faces, we were treated so well, warm, cosy and helpfull. Every day we got a fresh coconut from the garden which was so appreciated. You’ll feel very welcome. We’d like to thank Dhevatara for our wonderfull stay and never ever change! Best regards, Justin & Fanny

This was an wonderful surprise! The staff was incredible with us and even surprised us on one of our dinners ! The Coco Room restaurant is 5*- food is amazing. This was a very special stay for us and couldn’t ask for anything more ! Even thought we couldn’t not use the beach because of sea**** (we knew about it beforehand) the hotel pool is really really good. Very good and would definitely suggest for anyone going to Praslin.
