Village Hotel Liverpool

Great hotel, lovely food, the pool and gym are amazing in the morning would definitely stay again

The people on reception are superb. I paid over £30 for an overcooked tough Sirloin steak. The food is the hotels weakness

Well situated near the motorways - friendly helpful staff Club room was massive and looked as though it needed a bit more furniture as it was sp**** but beds very comfy Looked a little used and in need of some tlc

We used this hotel for a night away and booked for the spa/ pool facilities. The room was fine although could do with a little update. The hotel and staff felt friendly. It was a little disappointing to get up Sunday to go for a relaxing swim and spa to see the pool jam packed with members of the public and children, it looked like a pool party so we gave it a miss. The pool and facilities were a great size too. It would seem more beneficial for the pool to be open to the public after guests had checked out, in our view. Fairly central to town centre (£20 each way in an uber). Would stay again if we had our children but not as a couple’s relaxing night away.

Everything great. Nice gym/pool. Good breakfast. A bit of noise for most of the night from pool equipment/kitchen fans.

I stay there week in week out. The only thing I would change is the food.all burgers

Didn't stay as got a call on way to check-in to say room unavailable due to infestations of ladybirds..... that says enough i think 🤔 as was literally 5 minutes away when received the call nearly an hour after the original check-in time.........

Lovely hotel, but quite away from the city, taxis into city centre around £16 a good 20 mins away

Was asked as I was checking out if stay was ok - it wasn’t and they asked me to put in an e-mail 1. Reception when arrived was lovely - lady that greeted us v welcoming and friendly - good start and the all downhill !! 2. Ordered room service - only a couple of items available so ordered large rack of ribs - lady came to room - not available !! Asked for chicken wings - not Available Ok - burgers then - not available - said no buns - ok any burger with no bun then - not sure so ordered Tenders as a back up Burger plus bun arrived !!! 3. Had double room - only one set of towels for two of us !! 4. Breakfast - booked breakfast on-line - nobody asked for voucher ! No greeting or explanation so just grabbed a seat - asked where coffee was - told where - no mugs or forks on table - told -quote ‘ they’re on tables set up for brekkie ! Went round whole room - no mugs and guy that said would get me a fork - didn’t !! Both were wholly unhelpful 5. Breakfast was poor - stated tomato and mushroom - no mushroom - this 8.30 but none left !! No potatoes as stated on card and no eggs on offer - poor offering and unhelpful service !!! I used to stayed with village hotels , even holding a Golf membership at Village in Blackpool for several years but service in the past was nothing like this - very disappointed customer !! Sent e-mail to them yesterday am - ( after being given wrong e-mail and had to call to get correct one and heard nothing !!
