"Located in one of the nicest areas of Santiago (Providencia), this place has several apartments. The reception is excellent, as there's always a doorman who gives you the key whenever you need it, which is a great advantage. Parking is included in the rate, but not breakfast. Ours was an apartment for three people with everything we needed in the kitchen, a very comfortable master bedroom, and a bed in the living/dining room. The only downside was that the bathroom was inside the bedroom, so you lose some privacy. Otherwise, everything was fantastic."

"The rooms seemed extremely small to me. It was difficult to move around, even within the room itself. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom. We had to request one at reception, and they "lent" us one after we left a deposit. It's unheard of that you have to ask to borrow a hairdryer in a hotel. Also, in the booking instructions, we requested a room far from the elevator, but they put us right in front of it. I inquired about this as soon as I arrived, and they lied to me, saying we were far away. I pointed this out to them because, while I understand they might not have enough rooms, guests are bound to have a bad impression of the place if they lie about such unnecessary things. Furthermore, I don't think the staff did their job well. They should be more attentive. There was shouting in the hallway, and it was really difficult for us to get the rest we needed. The top bunk was very uncomfortable. There were three of us, and they only gave us two towels."

"Right next to the “financial district” , nice breakfast, super nice rooms with lovely bathroom (we stayed in room 211), and very helpful staff. The hotel even looked after our main luggage for 4 days while we popped over to Easter Island. Really nice!"

Novotel Santiago Providencia

"This was the lowest level of service of any hotel I've ever stayed at. 1. No one in the entire hotel spoke English except for two people. 2. The welcome area ran out of water glasses. I asked for one, and they said, "Go get one from the bar." 3. After ordering food from room service, I called them in the morning to pick up my dirty dishes by placing them in front of the door. I then asked again at reception in person. When I returned to my room that evening, the tray was still standing in front of the door. I saw the restaurant staff on my floor, who could have finally picked it up, but they told me, "That's not my job." 4. They don't provide water in the room; it's only available for purchase. 5. I drank water from the water cooler on my floor, and it had a strange salty taste; perhaps the filter hadn't been changed in a while. 6. There was a large black hair on the sheet when I checked in, and both towels were stained darkly. 7. I had a late night checkout, and I asked reception for a lunchbox and was refused. However, when I asked the restaurant for the same, they agreed and prepared it, thanks to the restaurant manager."
