We visited Lefay Resort for seven nights, We had previously stayed at Lefay Dolomiti last year and we wanted to experience their other resort as we had a wonderful time at Dolomiti. Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience here, We had booked a room with “Full Breakfast” and opted to have breakfast in the room on a number of occasions. There is a service charge for breakfast in the room, however we where also charged individually for the items we had, and told we only had a $35 credit per guest for breakfast, however this was not the case when staying at Lefay Dolomiti when we had also booked a room with “Full Breakfast. However if we went to the restaurant for breakfast, We could have as much food, drink and coffee as we liked, but choosing breakfast in the room meant we where charged individually per item, On most occasions we didn’t receive the items we had requested, and the food was cold however we understood Full Breakfast meant everything was included. We found the service and staff here very disappointing, We were not made to feel as welcomed as when we stayed at the Dolomiti resort and we found the staff here, specifically reception very unhelpful. I will be complaining directly to the booking agent as no where in the booking information or hotel information where we told it was only $35 credit if eating breakfast in the room, but unlimited in the restaurant and this was never communicated to us when checking in. We would not visit again and our holiday has been ruined by the staff here. We will be going back to England with a bad taste.
