Club Esse Sunbeach

The village is very large, the greenery is well-kept, the swimming pools are very beautiful, the food is good, except for the breakfast tarts. However, the pool area needs more attention when it comes to hygiene... the foot-washing area, for example, does not it is never cleaned and the water that stagnates in it is green. The accommodation units are beautiful.. but the beds are not very comfortable.. sleeping on a sofa bed in a 4 star hotel.. is shameful. And finally the worst note of the stay..600 meters on foot under the sun and with very high temperatures, to reach the beach. Equip yourself with a shuttle or a train that takes people to the beach if you want guests to return to you.

Second Club esse experience....this year at Sunbeach in Calabria, in a group. To forget!!! Luckily we were in a group and we did the entertainment alone, because the structure did not provide entertainment, as per the contract, from 10 to 17 September 2023....But not only that! The restaurant displayed food in the right quantity, but of poor quality and preparation.......inedible!!! And apparently the situation has already been going on for a few years, but the management doesn't take action......I think it's also our fault because despite reading the reviews we still book...... Then, the inclusive hall the variety of products was limited and those they offered were of very poor quality. Furthermore, if you were late for 30 seconds (without wanting to exaggerate) outside the scheduled time of the inclusive hall, they made you pay 1 euro even for a cup of hot water!!! SHAMEFUL!!! For the entire week we didn't see a single show from the entertainment team, they just limited themselves to making some music at the bar until midnight. After that, they even turned off the light and you couldn't even stop to play cards......To be absolutely avoided

to the Village Director Group stay for 2 weeks, unfortunately, in general the village is neglected in the maintenance of common and non-common parts, see some rooms next to the central bar, with 20 Jacuzzi tubs abandoned who knows how long with rain water inside and so on dirty beach inadequate services transit of electric scooters by private individuals and staff. in the swimming pool and common areas dirty beach services to be checked locks... positive only staff in general and entertainment, village not up to 4 stars, restaurant sometimes in haywire due to simultaneous influx of guests , plentiful food but of poor quality, large quantity of pork, melons and watermelons, suggestion to the Village Director to go around the facility more to prevent and fix these inconveniences which do not make the customer return, too bad about all of this. village with tides location excellent environment but poorly managed.

Good entertainment (even if not professional) nice location but the gardens and lights need to be taken care of (I recommend the LED ones with solar energy) because some avenues were not lit then we want to talk about eating note good convenient times and also good sleepyhead breakfast for those who wake up later but speaking of lunch and dinners, it should be specified that in a fish area you don't eat fresh grilled fish (non-existent) two evenings grilled in a week it's only meat 🍖 one evening pork and one evening sausage ( ventilator to be fixed) too much smoke in the air ps pizza 🍕 good positive All Inclusive (at times) shame about the direct pool bar service and I understand that due to ignorant and rude people they had to remove the direct pool service. among the sore points Unfortunately, it is worth noting that dogs are allowed but they cannot be taken to an external restaurant or to the sea. Specifically, dogs weighing 2 kilos are small toy sizes... then as a positive note, our room located on the first floor is large, spacious and clean. They should just number them. better because upon arrival we had to spend half an hour to understand the layout of the numbers and therefore to review the map...all in all below the sufficient quality/price ratio to review

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza. Siamo stati accolti da uno staff cortese, disponibile e professionale. Ottima l'animazione!!! Le camere sono funzionali e pulite. Il ristorante è di ottima qualità. Ritorneremo sicuramente il prossimo anno.

Sono stata in questo villaggio con mio figlio e amici a luglio..posto molto bello grande ben curato.ci sono due grandi piscine una relax e una con animazione..io non ci sono mai stata perché amo tantissimo il mare e qui è veramente bello..ottima posizione acqua cristallina..Il ristorante ad agni pasto proponeva di tutto e di più..sia dopo pranzo che cena si stava un po’ tranquilli in terrazza dove ascoltavamo musica dal vivo .i ragazzi dell animazione tutti bravissimi e non invadenti,il capo villaggio sempre presente poi alla sera ci faceva divertire e ballare in teatro .nel complesso siamo stati molto bene..grazieee

Le 2 sorprese sgradevoli all'inizio sono state una camera, su due prenotate, con bagno per disabili (senza bidet- in un 4 stelle non ci sta) che non ci hanno cambiato e la richiesta di pagamento salata della tessera club (270 euro in 3 con tassa di soggiorno). Considerando che si arriva avendo già pagato profumatamente il tutto, mi aspettavo un costo più simbolico. Il momento del pasto sempre troppo stressante, rumoroso e caotico con stoviglie sbattute di continuo. Il buffet è ricchissimo, ma la qualità, soprattutto dei primi, senza sapore con sughi insulsi, lascia a desiderare. Vini scadenti. Buonissima però la lasagna e gli spaghettoni con ragù calabrese. Altra nota dolente: non c'è un pullman per andare a visitare Squillace alta, così propongono escursioni a prezzi troppo cari. Vietano di prendere l'acqua con bottigliette dagli erogatori. Peccato che poi ci sia un uso spropositato di bicchieri di plastica che di certo non favorisce il bene dell'ambiente. Note positive: Mare stupendo, personale volenteroso, villaggio davvero ampio e bello, ottima passeggiata per andare in spiaggia, acqua gym fantastica con Nicoletta, qualche spettacolo serale davvero godibile (il capo animatore un professionista validissimo), piscina relax bellissima e camera confortevole con terrazzino, materassi comodi. In definitiva vale come un discreto tre stelle nel complesso.
