Very good location near the beach. The hotel is quite spacious., and the parking worked very well (you can have a full stay ticket to enter and exit the park). Breakfast and dinner were fine. Swimming pool was good. One needs to book the gym in advance, as well as the sauna, which makes no sense, In addition, the sauna is paid for the hotle customers, again something that makes no sense. The rooms need and update. The cleanliness of the rooms was not adequate. The staff did not seem to be, in general, very friendly.

This was our 4th time to this Hotel, Very hard to beat for Location , Good staff and Value. Will continue to visit this fantastic Hotel .

May is definitely a great time to visit! It’s just before the tourist crowds roll in for the summer. The weather is warm and the ocean is cold! This resort has a great pool, is just steps from the beach, and situated on a nature preserve. Quiet, and relaxing.

Hotel is great with a fantastic location and the staff are amazing, however as in many places sunbeds at the pool were reserved and not used and no controls over that leaving many guests with no place to sun bathe

This is the second stay at a Barceló hotel and a second excellent stay. We booked and got an excellent sea view room, which was very spacious with a very comfortable super king size bed. The bathroom could be updated but only a very tiny comment. The breakfast had a huge variety of dishes on offer to suit all needs. We normally eat at local restaurants but was we had two bad experiences, we decided to stick with the hotel and again, a very good variety of hot and cold food. Well worth 25€ each. The pool area was well stocked and there were regular checks on those who left the towels on the beds then left for hours on end. As this is mainly Spanish clientele, this was not a major problem. A very quiet and relaxing hotel. A bit too much talking but very carefree and no loutish behaviour. The staff are excellent and that was across the board. The restaurant staff at breakfast and dinner were excellent and I thoroughly recommend the Arrozante restaurant for lunch. It was my partners birthday and not only did he receive a happy birthday email but we arrived back at the room with a delicious birthday cake which could have fed 4. That sums up this hotel where nothing was too much problem. We will definitely come back!

Very nice hotel with great surroundings. Pretty pool and an amazing view from the premium seaside room. The room was renovated and nice BUT pretty dirty when we checked in. Brown dots in the toilet, dirty sheets and dirty surfaces. After telling the receptionist they send a friendly lady to change the sheets on our bed. The food was good but sometimes cold and it was a big problem to sit outside even when the weather was amazing. It depended on the motivation of the waiters instead of the weather. The pool is nice and the great beach is very close.

This hotel is not only beautiful but the service is 5 stars! It is located right on the beach and close to the bus into Huelva. I checked in and was assigned a room on the bottom floor however once I mentioned my concern for security as a single woman Mari Carmen moved me to the 2nd floor! Thank you Mari Carmen and thank you to this hotel for caring! I can’t wait to come back and stay longer as it is incredible! I am from America and there are very few Americans in this part of Spain but I suggest you come and see the most beautiful beaches in all of Spain! And of course stay here at Barceló Punta Umbría Mar! It is worth the trip!

3rd stay was great! Amazing location and a sea view terrace with sunbeds - you cannot beat that (paradise!). Fresh food, beautiful beach. Hotel listened to our feedback from the last year (we had some bad experience) and it was amazing this time. Beds are comfy what is super important as my half and I have bad backs. Will return next year!
