This is a unique Italian experience. The home is full of art and books and art deco glass chandeliers. The garden is beautiful. Settimo our host was great, giving us a ride into the center of town when we could not get a cab to answer on a busy Saturday night, he also took us to the train station when we departed. Breakfast included eggs to order, pastries and toast, lots of fruit, oranges to squeeze and make OJ. And a nice pot of coffee. He and his family were very accommodating. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean. The Villa is set on the outskirts of town so without a car you need to taxi into town or walk about a mile to the tram to get into the center of Padua. The Scrovegni chapel is not to be missed. I noticed there have not been reviews since Covid so I am giving an update. If you like the unusual this is your place. A stay works without a car, if you are ok taking taxi or tram. But a car makes it very easy
