Basic, beds were old but comfortable. Air con wasn't on. Appearantly, they put it on when they think it's necessary. Bathroom was reasonably clean, some mold though. And the smell was horrible. The bathroom sink didn't have swan neck in the drain, hence the open sewer smell Food was very basic. Restaurant had an enormous choice of dishes. But everything we had was super basic. Quite cheap though. Apparently too cheap because the check had bread added three times we didn't order. The bread served was old. Left over from the breakfast buffet. Check your bill. Breakfast was basic but ok. Coffee was not so good. Better is to be had three steps back at the bar.

Very quiet family hotel, especially popular with tour operators with bus trips. Our triple room was spacious and comfortable with a good bathroom. The breakfast was unfortunately the worst of our holiday. Beautiful surroundings including the water mills at the mouth of the river Gacka and the Sjeverni Velebit National Park. But this area is not yet really opened up for tourism. That also has advantages, such as the wonderful tranquility.

NO GOOD FOOD and very quick service, I kindly ask to clean the shawer and the water tap from the limescale but nobody worried about and after two days the situazione didn't change... nevertheless I have to admit that the room was very clean.

This was very pleasant stay and excellent price which included breakfast. Clean quiet room with big balcony, comfortable bed, beautiful view. Lovely place, very good atmosphere, friendly people, amazing late dinner at the restaurant downstairs. Thank you for such wonderful experience!

Hotel Mirni Kutak in het stadje Otočac is een zeer rustig gelegen familiehotel. Het hotel ligt aan de rand van het stadje in een woonwijk met uitzicht op landbouw, natuur en bergen. De kamers verschillen wel van grootte . Wij kregen een gratis upgrade naar een ruime driepersoonskamer met een kledingkast, een bureau en een grote badkamer. Alles was schoon. Helaas was het ontbijt duidelijk het slechtste dat wij tijdens onze rondreis door Kroatië hebben meegemaakt. Gelukkig waren er cottage cheese en jam bij het ontbijtbuffet, dat was mijn redding. 's Avonds hebben wij hier niet gegeten. Tijdens 2 nachten in dit hotel waren wij de enige individuele gasten in dit hotel. Voor de rest waren hier alleen busreizigers. De omgeving van Otočac is door toeristen nog nauwelijks ontdekt terwijl het een heel mooi gebied is. Wij kwamen hier voor het «Sjeverni Velebit National Park». Maar ook de watermolens bij de bron van de rivier Gacka zijn een bezoek waard.

Credo che in questo albergo manchino innanzitutto le basi dell'ospitalità: educazione, gentilezza, accoglienza, disponibilità. Il personale tutto si è mostrato apertamente scontroso e poco collaborativo già all'arrivo: non figuravamo nella lista dei clienti e dopo mezz'ora finalmente ci hanno assegnato una camera con bagno che ho dovuto pulire e disinfettare io, nonostante l'assicurazione che avrebbero provveduto immediatamente. Aria condizionata non funzionante perché secondo loro non necessaria, cena a dir poco imbarazzante con il personale che ha sparecchiato e pulito i piatti sporchi in una bacinella in sala. Alla nostra domanda se avessero problemi con gli Italiani hanno ammesso di non amarci molto e di considerarci degli "Albanesi", dimostrando di non conoscere la storia e la cultura di un popolo che è considerata la culla della civilta'. Consiglio ai gestori di iniziare a viaggiare, scegliendo come prima tappa proprio l'Italia, che in quanto ad ospitalità e gentilezza ha tanto da insegnare. Per l'educazione dubito che si possa risolvere. Un accenno alle camere: sporche, vecchie coperte di lana, moquette puzzolente, rubinetteria vecchia con il flusso dell'acqua razionato. Colazione a buffet scadente e poca scelta.

Accoglienza zero. Atteso per circa 20 minuti che arrivasse qualcuno alla reception. Richiesta camera e prima di pagare ho chiesto di poterla vedere….semi incassatura della receptionist ma alla fine ci siamo riusciti. Camera anni ‘70, bagno/doccia scarsa. Da svecchiare hotel e personale.
