Very quaint and peaceful place - great for climbing the Schneeberg Mountain and relaxing in the spa after. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was a lack of a la cart options for dinner, forcing you to pay a lot for either set menus or buffets. Unfortunately there was not anything else around except fried and not so great Austrian food. Otherwise great stay and special thanks to the amazing bartender :)

The rooms were very clean and had balconies with a lovely view. The restaurant food was delicious! They were very accommodating for a nut allergy during dinner service. Nice hiking nearby, too. Unfortunately, I didn't experience the sauna as it was so hot outside, but the pool was cold and refreshing.

Rooms are very comfortable and clean, staff is friendly and customer oriented. Food is okay, but not outstanding. Only the so called spa area is too small and not really inviting. Nothing special to do in the town outside, it’s quite old and sleazy.

So steht es auf einem großen Schild vor dem Hotel. Und so ist es auch: man kann hier durchaus angenehm die „Leichtigkeit der Seins“ erleben und spüren. Wir waren schon sehr oft hier (siehe die Bewertung „Wiederholungstäter – spricht sehr für dieses Hotel“ vom Oktober 2023). Wir haben telefonisch gebucht, rasch ist per E-Mail die Bestätigung gekommen. Das Arrangement diesmal „Stammgästepreis Halbpension“. Wir haben – sehr aufmerksam – dasselbe Zimmer wie voriges Mal erhalten. Wie bereits mehrmals bewertet: sehr schönes Zimmer, aufmerksames Service, Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen) und Trinken im Restaurant sehr gut und reichlich, an der Bar waren wir einmal (ein Gutschein der postalischen Weihnachtswünsche vom Vorjahr), nicht genutzt haben wir aus Zeitgründen die im Preis enthaltene „Nachmittagsjause mit pikanten Gerichten, hausgemachten Kuchen an der Hotelbar“, sehr wohl haben wir im Wellnessbereich die „Leichtigkeit des Seins“ beim morgendlichen Schwimmen und auch nachmittags im Ruhebereich genossen. Da das Wetter es gut mit uns gemeint hat, haben wir – trotz manchmal eisiger, schneeiger oder gatschiger Wege – ausgiebige Wanderungen / Spaziergänge gemacht, sowie Jausen in Cafés des Ortes genossen. Es war somit wieder ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt hier – durchaus zum Wiederkommen!

So eine angenehme Atmosphäre in diesem stilvollen Haus, ganz toll! Hervorragende Küche mit perfektem Service, die Mischung aus professionell und herzlich, die es so angenehm macht. Super sauberer Wellnessbereich, wenig frequentiert, sehr angenehm, ab nachmittags. Zimmer sehr schön mit Balkon, Badezimmer ohne Tür und transparent, gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Wie in der Bewertung““ Wieder sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt“ vom April 2022 zum Schluss geschrieben – nämlich „Es bleibt somit dabei, dass Puchberg für uns absolut zum Wiederkommen ist!“ – war es auch! Das Hotel war wieder ein sehr angenehmer Stützpunkt mit schönem Zimmer, aufmerksamen Service, sehr gutem (und reichlichem) Essen im Rahmen der Vollpension, entspannenden Aufenthalten im Wellnessbereich und beim Schwimmen, einer guten Massage, und einer insgesamt netten Atmosphäre im Hotel. Das Wetter war (eben der Jahreszeit entsprechend) winterlich mit Nebel, zeitweise Schneefall, aber nicht zu tiefen Temperaturen. Wanderungen auf den schneeigen Wegen haben wir doch täglich gemacht, einmal auch hinauf bis zur (an dem Tag geschlossenen) Hengsthütte, wo am letzten Stück des Weges sogar der Nebel kurz von strahlender Sonne abgelöst wurde! Wir waren also sehr zufrieden mit dem neuerlichen Aufenthalt im Schneeberghof!
