Basic but clean and has everything you need , staff are pleasant, food is good and its cheap . There are 5 swimming pools that are all spotlessly clean , only downside is the steep hill but I'll definitely go back

Another stay at this great hotel. Meal times could be a little noisy but plenty of food. Standards of cleaning were excellent. The animation team were great and my daughter loved Lucy and Martin! He was there last time we came so she was made up to see him again! We stayed in 219 above the theatre, the balcony was lovely and private with sun all afternoon! Beach right across the road and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby if you fancied a change of scenery. Will shall be back again soon!

We travelled with a group of four friends. Front of house went beyond our expectations to make my wife's "big" birthday a very special occasion. The rooms are clean and tidy, buffet food is excellent, the all inclusive drinks are OK. All in all a fantastic hotel that we will be visiting again in the future. 5 star.

We have been to several All inclusive hotels before but RIU Paraiso was one of the best. There isn't much to complain really. We had booked a regular family room with a separate bedroom but eventually got upgraded to a 2-bedroom family room which was really spacious and quiet. Housekeeping worked really well and everything was spotlessly clean. The service was excellent everywhere. The hotel area is huge, so it was a long way for us to walk to the restaurants through the well-kept gardens but it was actually nice. We love cats and there really were LOTS of them at the hotel! The wifi was great and there were lots of free parking places. The location next to the huge beach was beautiful but a bit remote, so for us it was easiest to rent a car to tour around the island. We have always used the local car rental company Cabrera Medina which is great value for money. The variety, quality and taste of food and drink at the hotel was quite good. It was nice to have 3 restaurant options for dinner. We tried the Canarian and Asian theme restaurants (which were easy to book via RIU app), both were OK and more peaceful than the huge main restaurant. The orange juice at breakfast was quite basic but there were plenty of other freshly pressed juices available. And it would have been nice to have ice cream available at the pool bar during the day. The coctails at the bars were not particularly special, we have had tastier ones in other AI hotels. At the poolside the sunbeds were very close to each other (but at least there were plenty of them), no side tables for drinks, etc. But these are just minor things. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from this hotel (2 adults - 1 disabled, and a 17 year old) we found every part of this hotel to be excellent. Prior to our arrival, we made some requests regarding my partner's disability, which were all granted. We found that the cleaning throughout the hotel was exceptional, the food was plentiful and varied, and satisfied even the fussiest member of our party, and every member of staff was incredibly polite and welcoming at all times. The daytime entertainment was really popular and the alcohol and evening entertainment were at the level that I would expect from an AI hotel in Lanzarote. I always try to post a balanced review, but on this occasion I really can't find anything to criticise - so I won't. I don't usually return to a hotel, however good it was, but we're seriously considering returning here

The hotel is really beautiful as is all riu hotels , great location , room was beautiful and very spacious food was really good , deserts were good , the hotel seems to cater for older clientele which we didn’t mind as we were there to relax , one thing I would complain about is lack of toilets none at reception you have to walk all the way downstairs near restaurant and none by the pool again you have to use the ones by the restaurant and that’s the only ones in the hotel except for your room and your not going to rush back everytime you need the toilet ! Small shop on site was that small we never found it ! Good location , weather was awful most of the second week of June not hotels fault ! Would I return no better places with guaranteed weather for the price we payed for one week
