Gueldera Apartments

The apartment was precisely what we needed. Ground floor with loungers and patio table and chairs. Spacious lounge/kitchen area with all the necessary equipment including an oven as well as a hot plate. Comfortable sofa and armchair. Excellent shower and bathroom facilities including a washing machine. The main bedroom had a nice double bed and more than ample storage and safe and a good aircon unit. There was an additional electric floor stand air fan in the lounge. All towels both apartment and beach and bed linen is provided. The apartment is situated a 5 minute walk from the main shops bars and restaurants in a quiet location and a 15 minute walk to the beach opposite our favourite cafe / shop called DosMil. The keys are all in lockboxes with clear instructions and they provide a large cupboard by the road to store your cases after checkout and before heading off to the airport. We had a shuttle on arrival but caught the local bus to the airport upon departure which we caught a short 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. The staff were extremely helpful when answering any questions in a timely and very pleasant manner.

Nice apartment, quiet surroundings, I would liked to have a ground floor one then I think I would give five stars, location was excellent, near beach bars and restaurants yet private and tranquil.

Had a fabulous stay at this apartment complex. Cleanliness 5/5. There is a cooker, grill, all the cutlery, pots & pans you could need. A big fridge and small freezer, a washing machine. Lovely shower too 😍. Staff are very friendly, Judit & Beky were very attentive and helpful with anything we needed help with. You can keep your luggage here after checking out if your flight isn’t until later on in the day. Late check-out rates very reasonable too. 5 minute walk from the beach and the *****, and you won’t hear any noise at night time. Very highly recommend Guelderra Self - Catering Apartments and we’ll 100% be back next year!

I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place. Very close to everything you could need but also very quiet. Great air con and internet, also very clean. I can’t wait to return!

Initially I was disappointed that there wasn’t a swimming pool in the complex. However in saying that, we got over the situation when we realised We were right on the Beach doorstep , a beautiful clean beach and so central. Judit, what an outstanding Manager, she went up and Beyond her duty of care to us on our visit. I ended up in Hsp and Judit was in constant communication with my partner, as to what she could do to make life a little easier. Very quiet, clean and the cleaning services are second to none. I found the entrance into our block D apartment very shabby and it didn’t help in trying to rate the apartment. It was like they ran out of money, ideal location for a swimming pool, the complex definitely required one. Apartments could Be brightened up with a different colour scheme. The beds were hard However when I mentioned that, a topper was send to the apartment. Services and care outstanding. Ideal location.

Really enjoyed our stay at Gueldera apartments. We had an upper two bedromm apartment that both rooms had air con. We only used one of the bedroom and never used the air con as we left the window on tilt, and enjoyed the slight breeze. We had two balconies and on both you didn't seem to get much of the normal breeze on either. as a result I saw the rare site of my wife coming in out of the sun due to the heat. As you will read from other reviews there is no pool, however I'm not a sun lover or pool user so it was fine by me. ***** and sea from short 3 minute walk away, so easy to pop out and back with little effort and all on the flat too. Spar shop probably 4-5 minutes walk where you can get most things you need. I'd recommend Yum Yum on the ***** for breakfast it's superb. Run by Irish couple Pauline and Tony, the food is excellent and the service welcoming. Be aware it's popular, and it's worth booking in advance for the following day. The Plough restaurant is just round the corner about 100 yards off the main *****, and my guess is many people walk past it on their way to the *****. We had two lovely reasonably priced meals, and it's well worth a visit. Special mention to Judit. Superb friendly service enjoyed a few chats over the course of the week.
