Just back from our second visit this year and a special one as it was our 30th wedding anniversary . Can’t complain about anything. Rooms spotless, cleaned everyday, pool area great and no issues with beds. Special mention to the dedicated breakfast staff. Worked really hard every day and nothing was too much bother. Looking forward to our next visit already!!

Absolutely wonderful place, nothing was too much trouble for all the staff from reception to cleaners to waiters. Our 2 bed apartment was spotless, beautiful view of the pool. The terrace was a sun spot also for our daughter to sunbathe on. The breakfast buffet was also top notch, so much to choose and the omelette made to order were scrumptious. We will be back.

Just back from a week's holiday and absolutely love this place. The lady on reception is lovely. In fact, all staff are. We had a ground floor apartment, but unfortunately, we had an issue with ants that they dealt with right away. We did have a wee dreaded "c" visitor, but we removed him outside. The apartments are cleaned every day,, the beds are comfy absolutely no compaints re the apartment. There is even a mini bar now with drinks and snacks to purchase. We didn't, but I thought it was a nice touch. No sun bed wars, thank goodness. Ate at the pool bar and lunch was fantastic as was their smoothies. The breakfast was a good choice between cereals, meats, cooked breaky and pastries. The only thing that niggled me was the sides of the pool. Could have done with a bit of TLC to fix rust. Didn't stop me going in, though. A welcome dip each day. All in all a great place to spend a holiday. Quiet location but near enough to walk to the busy parts of puerto del carmen. Definitely will be back. Xx

Well , this is our 4th visit to Barcarola, we kept coming back as we loved it so much but I’m very sad to say we won’t be returning. As usual everything was spotless, room cleaned every day, some days early ,sometimes after 3. On check out day though at 11.05 the door was knocked by house keeping to tell us to leave, I explained we were almost ready and would be 10 minutes, she looked at me as if I was a piece of dirt. Then the phone started to ring with reception telling us to leave. Please note we thought check out was 12. At check out, at 11.20, there wasn’t ‘how was your stay’ instead abruptly asked ‘ did you use mini bar?’ , which we didn’t. I’m not sure if this place is under new management, definitely don’t recognise anyone in reception from previous visits but perhaps a bit of training in customer service would go a long way.

The apartment is decent and clean.. sun loungers at the pool is a huge and ongoing issue. Selfish residents leaving towels down and going out for the day. Don't bother going to reception as suggested. I've just been 10:30 2/11/25, absolutely no response to me raising the issue. I won't be back..

Amazing holiday was there with husband for 11 days, was his first time there and he loved it I was there in June with my daughter and loved everything about the place. Lovely rooms were cleaned every day we were in e block pool amazing people were very friendly, you are in the centre of everything. Myself and my daughter are back in June and again in September with husband can’t wait to see you all.

First time at the Barcarola apartments and my wife and I were amazed at the peace and tranquility once you step off the ***** through the gate. You enter into beautiful gardens and well maintained grounds. On arrival the young lad in. Reception quickly booked us in and showed us to our apartment even carrying our luggage for us. The apartment itself was bright and airy and the beds were very comfortable. We found the staff to be very friendly and eager to help if you had an issue. The position of Barcarola club is just off the ***** so once you walk out the gate a multitude of bars and restaurants are available but no noise seems to travel into the apartments. Another plus is there are no hills to climb at Barcarola club. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and looking forward to returning

This was our 3rd stay in this hotel in the past year. It is like if you find somewhere so perfect, why would you want to stay anywhere else . Fabulous apartments and amazing breakfast choices. The staff who keep this place immaculate need a massive shout out as they are so lovely, friendly and work really hard every day to give this place the fantastic reputation it has. Thank you for another wonderful stay with you. See you all next year x
