"Absolute Paradise I cannot recommend Astoria Palawan enough! My husband and I recently stayed in one of the Villas, and it was the perfect home away from home. The space, the privacy, and the gorgeous views made our trip truly special. One of the highlights was the boat trip to the sand bar—a slice of heaven in the middle of the water. The team that took us out ensured we were safe and comfortable the entire time, making the experience completely worry-free and magical. The food was consistently excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. For evening relaxation, we loved having drinks at The Dome—the atmosphere is unmatched. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to send a huge thank you to Segundo at the Canopy reception for his warm and efficient service. A special shout-out to Jacqklyn at The Dome for her wonderful evening service and making our nights out special, and to Mark at the Habitat Restaurant for his attentive care during our meals. We are also incredibly grateful to the team who safely took us to the sandbar—your professionalism was reassuring. Finally, a massive thank you to Agustin at the waterpark for his energy and helpfulness; he made the waterpark experience so much fun for us no. The Funny Lion - Puerto Princesa
"Fantastic stay overall with lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Very disappointed to have stayed over Valentine’s Day with no warning that we needed to book a table for dinner, having not done so every other evening. The restaurant was full with non resident guests and we were left with no option other than to have a food delivery which we ate in our room. Please warn future guests if there are special events taking place so that they can book the restaurant if required."

"The Hotel is pretty old, so is the bathroom. It smells like mould as soon as you enter the room! Also there was mould in my bathroom and hair, which wasnt mine already at check-in. Staff is not flexible at all. I payed for several breakfasts that I didnt have. Yet there was no way of switching it up to dinner. I asked for a packed breakfast. The lady at reception first said its also not available. When I mentioned a review she said they can provide a packed breakfast. She would notify me later what is available for breakfast. Yet I was never notified and they gave me something with tuna, which I dont eat. Also the staff prefers to hang out together, laugh and watch stuff on their phones instead helping their customers. I was woken up by three staff member talking loudly in front of my room. At breakfast there is not really a huge variety to be found and it is rather simple. The outside area is nice but still differs a lot from the pictures online. Overall absolutely overpriced and not worth the money! Can not recommend staying there."

"There are 2 things you need to know about this place. First, it is as beautiful as it is remote...from my private bungalow, I sit high above in a tree top jungle over-looking a gorgeous view of the ocean below. The sounds of birds calling, insects buzzing and lizards barking echo throughout the day and into the night. Second, you are in nature, so check your rooms thoroughly and keep everything tight and clean. Ants, spiders, and others are everywhere looking for food. There is minimal internet, no real TV, no air conditioning, and barely warm water. These are the goods and bads you need to know going into this. I understood the rules and still had an amazing time! My favorite part was laying in my hammock during a thunderstorm and taking a nap in peace. Food is good but again, it is remote, and they all give excellent customer service for whatever you need."
