Servatur JB - Adults Only

I booked this as a five night break a couple of months ago and it was at a bargain price. Given this, I was not expecting too much and as long as the apartment was clean I would be happy. Wow! The enormous balcony with the stunning views have made my holiday. Not seen a lot of staff but when we have they have been friendly. Apartment cleaned every day. I only put the English news channel on once so I couldn’t comment on any other channels. Very serene around the pool, we are technically out of season, so plenty of sunloungers. Pool bar open through the day. There is a Spar supermarket five minutes walk up the hill. Steady fifteen minutes walk up to the Europa Centre, took me eight minutes to get back down! I will definitely be booking to come back here again.

The Problems with this 'Keep Fit' hotel... - The rooms don't have broken air conditioning or slow wi fi - The room cleaners aren't rubbish - The views aren't over a concrete wall or someone else's balcony - It's not full of laydees with screaming baybees -There's no kids club/mini disco/babies in nappies in the pool - There's no animation team - There's no one reserving sunbeds at 6am - There's no rave music blasting by the pool - There's no hoards of Eastern Europeans on the 'Wodka' from 9.00am - It's not located near late night bars and rave clubs  - There's no shaven headed beer monsters in football shirts with tattooed wives either - And it's not £200+ a night like the Lakes, Whitby, etc. That's why we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. (SSSSHHHH!!!! Keep it a secret...)

Excellent apartments with everything you need including air con. Poolside bar/café very good, reasonable prices and great service. It opens at midday and closes at 6pm which was ok as we had beer and supplies in the room fridge. It's not a quick walk into town but the views make up for that. It's just 5Euro for a taxi each way, so very cheap if there are a few of you.

We stayed here for a week and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The pool area was peaceful and the balcony’s are a very generous size. The balcony’s are equipped with sun loungers, a table, regular chairs and a parasol. We didn’t pay extra for a sea view and still found the view was stunning. The sun did disappear behind our apartment at around 4pm but the pool area remains sunny until later. The cleaners came around most days and did a fabulous job. It is a steep walk to and from the beach but the views are so worth it once you reach the hotel! However, there are also a lot of taxis available in the area if needed (we didn’t use them so I’m not sure how much they would cost). WiFi is available but just not in the rooms which wasn’t an issue for us as we had plenty of mobile data. Overall we had a great first time in Gran Canaria thanks to Servatur JB and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others!
