Peridot By The Sea Redang Reviews

We’ve truly enjoyed our stay at Peridot. The Long Beach Villa room is beautifully decorated. The view from the room is breathtaking & it's really nice to be waking up by the sound of sea waves. Love their L'Occitane toiletries as well.  However, as the hotel is still undergoing some renovations, there are not many amenities available around the hotel. Upon checking in, we were so hungry after a long drive from SG, but the restaurant was closed at 2pm. The only options we were offered were to go to the other hotels' restaurants along the beach. The à la carte menus provided did not have much variety either. To get halal food was quite a distance from Peridot. But no choice; after freshening up, we walked along the beach and just asked around if we could have our late lunch there. Breakfast varieties were limited. For the price we paid, it could have been better. I love their chicken nuggets, though!  At night, it can be quite quiet around the area, but it was not an issue for us, as we love the quiet vibes and enjoy our peaceful nights there. The WIFI connection was really bad. So we got to use our data most of the time. Apart from the food issue, the rooms had power trips quite frequently on our 2nd & 3rd days of our stay there.  Overall it was a great experience for us. The room is clean, and basic amenities are fulfilled. Please note they are still in their soft launch; expect to be fully operational by March 2026. I hope I can come back by then & the facilities will be fully functional and improved.

Bravo place and awesome staffs!!!

We booked a Long Beach Villa. The ocean view was breathtaking the moment we opened the curtains. The beach is incredibly convenient, and I prefer it here compared to Laguna. There are fewer people, the beach is cleaner, and the scenery is more beautiful. I could enjoy the beach in peace and quiet. The hotel facilities are very new, the rooms are spacious, and the bedding is comfortable. The resort isn't fully finished yet, but I'm sure it will be even better once it's finished. The staff were also very welcoming. The hot water system wasn't working on our first day, but it was quickly fixed the next day. The breakfast could be a bit more varied.

It was really great! I'll definitely come back often! The staff made us feel right at home! The facilities are still being improved! I hope to be able to fully experience all the resort's facilities next time I come!

It's really great. The front desk service is very attentive. The beach is just 20 seconds away from the room, and it's very clean.

It was a total rip-off. The resort was still under construction, and we were the only two people there. The rest of the resorts were closed. We booked two nights, but because there was no one else there, we were forced to go back early, and they wouldn't refund our money. It was practically a scam; the island was closed without us even telling us. They just said the resort didn't offer snorkeling or turtle watching. We spent 2700 yuan, feeling like we were completely ripped off.

The sea is very beautiful, but they sometimes burn garbage behind the building, which produces a bad smell. Breakfast needs to be reserved during the off-season, and it's not a buffet, so the variety is limited. The front desk service is very good.

The Peridot is a beautiful resort but is undergoing renovations so they don't offer any services at the moment. The pool is full of dirty water, the reception bathrooms are still full of lime and insects, there are workers (rightly) wandering around the entire resort and the breakfast is really poor: they offer toast with butter and jam and something savory. The rooms, on the other hand, are fabulous, spacious and state-of-the-art... ours was directly on the sea and offers L'Occitane products which in our opinion are excellent. The price for the current conditions is decidedly high.

The room is very good and new. The service is good. There is a shuttle service.
