Beautiful view of Lake Titicaca, the sunrise and stars. Gorgeous gardens, flowers, birds, labyrinth, and fountains!!! Helpful and kind staff, even found a kayak so I could go out on the water. Delicious, local fruit filled breakfast buffet.

Stayed here on the second half of our journey. This hotel is beautiful and has a lot of energy which I'm sure is due to the special place of Lake Titicaca! Beautiful views and the staff is very friendly. I would've liked to have had a refrigerator in the room and a kettle to boil water to have tea in the room. The other Taypikala hotel we stayed in had these things. Besides that, the stay was magical.

This hotel is nice, depending on where in the world you're coming from. I'm from California, so I will write what I think based on my location. The staff is extremely nice, all speak English, very attentive and put together. The rooms were worn out and looking like they needed updating, especially bathrooms. It looks like it was in its prime some time in the 80s, and now it needs a bit of TLC. Having said that, it's kept clean and they do the best they can. Biggest concern was the location. We were on tour so I couldn't choose the location, otherwise I'd probably not picked this place. It's literally in the middle of nowhere, around 15-20 min from the nearby town. I see they do weddings and other special occasions, so I guess it would be ok for that. I hear they provide shuttles into the town, but we were bused around, so I didn't experience the shuttle. The hotel is on the lake, but because of global warming, the lake receded and now it's really far away. The hotel has a nice gift shop with lots of local alpaca products and jewelry and books. That was nice. The restaurant food was amazing. Trout ceviche is out of this world. Anything we tried was amazing.

Wonderful hotel! Please stay here on your next visit to Lake Titicaca. It is a gem and highly activated with the energies of the Lake. I would stay here each time I return to this area. This was the second visit staying at this hotel.

We came to this hotel on a spiritual retreat lead by Don Augustine and Don Jorge Delgado. The tours offered by Don Jorge are the best ever. We visited many sacred sites and enjoyed the kind a loving teachings of Don Jorge Delgado. The hotel service is 5 star. The staff took care of us like family. The highlight of this trip however was participating in plant medicine ceremonies with Don Augustine and Abel. Although we were nervous about trying Ayuhuasca and San Pedro, we felt so safe with Don Augustine who is a third generation Shaman. He knew exactly how and when to assist us and made the whole process move with ease and grace. I feel deeply grateful for the integrity and love of these shaman and the peace that the surrounding lake and beautiful gardens provided us with. Above all else, our ceremonies were held with just four friends and the two shaman. We felt privileged to be in such an intimate environment and in the hands of true professionals. I have not found a place giving plant medicine ceremonies with less than 30 or 20 people so in this sense, This hotel and Don Augustine are a real treasure. I will definately come back here.

Sunrise over Lake Titicaca from your bedroom window, oh yeah! Experience the beautiful energy and healing power of this lovely resort. Peaceful morning walk in the labyrinth will stay with you for a long time. Our group enjoyed it all, a bonfire with hot wine, a wonderful wedding reception for two of our guests, amazing shopping opportunities, and a very hard working staff! Thanks Gladys for all of your attention to detail.

The location on Lake Titicaca is beautiful. The staff are all very nice to work with and accommodating. The hotel has many unique antiques of Peru displayed throughout. This is located near many spiritual sights, temples and ruins. Food was delicious. A great place to stay.

The Taypikala Lago Hotel was a beautiful stay right on Lake Titicaca with amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The hotel itself had very lovely and comfortable rooms and the grounds were beautiful with courtyards and mediation labyrinth and a model of the Moray Crater in back of the hotel complete with a Lemurian centerpiece crystal. The restaurant served delicious food and drink and the staff was amazing and extremely accommodating. My group also took advantage of the very thorough and good in-house masseuse as well as enjoyed a local 'cocoa tea leaf Shaman reading' coordinated by the hotel. The entire experience was very wonderful.

I really can’t say enough about this hotel. They were gracious kind and attentive. They made sure all of my needs were met. The staff was so kind. We were on a spiritual tour with Jorge Delgado. It was the best tour I have taken in my 63 years on this planet; we hit all the sacred places and I really truly believe my life has changed as a result. The hospitality, the graciousness, and experience was one I will treasure throughout my lifetime.
