Hotels in Cabeza de Toro, Punta Cana

This was our first time in Dominicana and we chose this hotel because our tour operator said it was new and we actually liked the pics (they are real by the way, not like in the majority of the hotels where they post only the best to attract guests). First thing that impressed us was that all staff was wearing masks at all times everywhere: inside and outside! No matter if they were showing sport exercises, cleaning or dancing in the lobby in the evening, they were always in masks! Then sanitizers everywhere . Temperature control at the entrance to the hotel and to all restaurants. The staff also makes sure you are wearing a mask and gloves when picking food. Everyone was polite helping and smiling all the time. I will name only some people here just because I didn't take photos of all names, so sorry if I didn't name you. All receptionists were ready to help and solve any problem you have. Bieavenido (thanks for late night talk, now I know when is the Independence day in Dominicana!😊). All our requests were satisfied within 5-15minutes (not Dominican minutes👆🤣). Guys at the restaurant all who were welcoming, thank you for giving us masks and gloves when we were too overwhelmed with holiday activities and forgot to get them🙈. Thank you for always wishing us good morning, nice day and smiling! Guys who take orders inside the restaurants and my Spanish teachers😅 Ramon, Antonio, Wilsoooooon Rincon, muchos gracias! They always ask you how you are, remember your orders and bring them before you think about it. Mariia Soriano and Andy from lobby bar- the smiliest girl and boy ever! Thank you for your Russian and Ukrainian, keep learning, next time I come I will check up on your progress! 🤣 Animation team- you are beyond human abilities!!! Fly yoga, yoga on surf boards, volleyball, water polo(I think it was water polo😅), water bikes in the swimming pool, sexy dancing, jumping on little trampolines..Ruben & Jason, my sister Debora(best breeds from you!❤)and my evening salsa teacher Coca -Cola(don't lose uno in bachata anymore😉). Love you guys! 🥰 I will always remember all of you, how you invited to take part in the activities, how you were showing everything step by step, your patience, your unique personalities. The best chef on this planet Wander Montilla with amazingly beautifully looking and heavenly tasting dishes. 😋 Thank you for your unforgettable dinner at the stake house restaurant! Also, the cooking show in Asian restaurant is worth seeing! The food is amazing and the products are high quality. We are more than happy with our rest!

This trip was amazing. The resort was beautiful and easy to navigate. The rooms are quite large and the location is isolated and quiet. The beach is beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were wonderful. The staff were all really friendly and the service was generally great. There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options which was great! All the events were really enjoyable and overall it was a really relaxing and memorable vacation! Shout out to the activities director Miki for making our stay extra special!

Really enjoyed every second of my stay

We were hosted at the hotel Bakour and our experience was absolutely exceptional. Since we arrived, the staff made us feel like at home. The attention was of high quality, familiar and extremely careful. They were always ready to help us with whatever we needed. The reception was particularly highly high thanks to Kimberly's friendlyness and efficiency, who greeted us every day and kept us informed about the activities of the hotel. Your personalized attention and your willingness to help us at any time were essential for our stay. But what really loved us was the staff's attitude in general. From Manuel, the tours seller who became a friend and made us several gifts without commit, even the bar and buffet boys, such as Jazmín and Joan, who were always attentive and kind. Even Junior, who worked at night, was extremely social and made us feel part of the family. We were very happy to have a nice and comfortable room, and we were very happy to have a nice room. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. In short, the hotel is worth the 5-stars with a great deal of cressing, staff is very careful and carefully concerned about the guests' experience. If you are looking for a place where you feel like at home and be treated as part of the family, this is the perfect hotel for you.

Overall experience was good, and would return again. The only unfortunate part that there was a lot sea**** on the beach in which you could not enjoy.

Because I paid through a third party i was not allowed to amend my reservation and I end up stuck with all of the additional cost and the staff refuse to adjust my reservation. I paid for 4 people all inclusive from Thursday to Sunday. I had to book another hotel for sun to Monday. The hotel refuse to reimburse me for the other room and the additional people who could not makes the trip because they were in the hospital. Just sad...

This is all inclusive for the masses. It reminded me of European mass tourism. Just to check in, we had to stand for an hour in line. They don't care. The drinks are horrible, the pool bar has always a line of people waiting to be served. The beer is cheap swill and so are the drinks. Pina Coladas that just don't taste right. The pizza shack is overcrowded with the feel of a feeding trough. The pool and beach snack bar doesn't let women enter in bikini tops. Of course it is empty. The buffet is huge. But lacks in taste. There are no star cooks in the kitchen. Aggressive hawkers have their stands in front of the single restaurant and you constantly hear ”my friend...” This place certainly has its clientele, mostly Dominicans, but I left after a day. No porter service, I had to lug my suitcases out to the parking lot far away.

The hotel is located in a large local resort with two security lines, so the security management is very good; the rooms are spacious and the layout is reasonable; the breakfast is rich and the service level is high. Other facilities of the hotel, including the pool and the beach, are good. The only thing that is not ideal is that we come to the season (October) beach Shanghai algae too much, affecting the experience.
